when nokia made 7710 in 2003, first smartphone in the world with touch screen and symbian s90, 4 years before first iphone, samsung didn't know at that time to make a proper tv or refrigerator, only tiny clamshell shitty mobiles. at that time plasma from panasonic was the best. samsung make only good lcd panels and some processors. no more

AnonD-2671, 02 May 2012hahahah POOR nokia they will dissapear in 5 years ... selli... moreNokia will never resort to adopting Android. Why? Because, as lucrative as it seems but, actually only 3 companies are reaping benefits from Android - Samsung, Google and Huawei. The rest are all losing revenues. Just take a look at HTC, Motorola, LG and Sony and their quarterly losses. Android is basically all about Samsung (and Huawei for the Chinese market). So it's stupid for Nokia to jump on the Android bandwagon, much more stupid than their decision to go Windows Phone.

AnonD-1082, 02 May 2012Go Nokia! Don't forget to sue Samsung as well. I'm prett... moreNokia isnt really in any position to sue the bigger manufacturers. It wud b highly dangerous for nokia to attract samsung's wrath as that company is rolling in profits of billions whereas nokia is rolling around in losses of billions. Samsung wudnt mind spending another 260 million dollars over patent wars but nokia wudnt be able to spend even 26million dollars. N samsung's patent portfolio is as big as nokia's if not bigger. So nokia can easily be counter sued.

y not think of something better to do rather than to sue shit. Nokia no doubt is a nice device but IOS and Android is still the best. Nokia should switch to something better.

Woah! Nokia's doing an apple. Nokia's desperation is evident. But this isnt gonna get nokia what they want. In fact they will loose popularity n attract more haters this way. This suing game isnt gonna get nokia any money. Apple tried n failed. The only one is really successfull at suing is microsoft. Nokia ur only tarnishing ur own image.

was wondering why Nokia wasn't suing anyone , what with a whole host of patents they have. High time more people entered the suing race. More fun to watch.

I give Nokia 3 to 5 years. Turning to patent infringements is a sign that they are failing very fast.
