Now Pubg gameplayer got sad. Mediatek Helio G90T is best for Pubg mobile. I will go for rn8pro or rm6.
Extra thinks that makes me impressed in rn9pro max is punchholl display, navic and 5020 mah battery.

I love how even 200 dollar budget devices giving 30 plus watt fast charging while Sony and Apple sticking to weak 18w fast charging for their flagship phones.

I wish it has 12gb ram, 6000mah battery, 200 megapixel camera, 3.0ghz octacore processor and 1 terrabyte storage for only $100. Much better if it is buy 1 take 1

Big screen? Really?
6.67" in 19.5:9 aspect ratio is NOT BIG by Mi Max standards. It's a LAME IMITATION of the legacy MI MAX big screen experience.
The last Mi Max 3 with 18:9 aspect ratio was 6.9", and before that, the 6.4" Mi Max and 6.4" Mi Max 2, both of which actually had bigger screen widths than the Mi Max 3, being the standard 16:9 aspect ratio.
SCREEN WIDTH is the most important screen measurement nowadays with 'BIG PHONE' wannabes claiming to be 'BIG' but which are actually closer to 'STUPIDLY LONG' rather than truly BIG with REAL BIG SCREEN experience.
Screen mirroring of phone screen to smart TV's nowadays are creating unprecedented BLACK BARS in ALL SIDES (left, right, tip, bottom) all around the 16:9 aspect ratio tv screen resulting in a stupid big screen TV viewing experience because Android doesn't have a FEATURE yet to cater to non-standard phone screens when mirrored to standard 16:9 TV screens. Only Samsung seems to realize the problem and so incorporates 'aspect ratio' adjustment when screen mirroring the phone screen to a 16:9 TV screen in its 'Smart View' feature.

Was expecting the max version to have higher pricing than what's been announced along with some good features, instead Xiaomi decided to go for low pricing and less feature route.
Was disappointed in Realme 6 Pro, but after looking at Note 9 Pro Max I think Realme 6 Pro is not that bad after all.
At least the Redmi Note 9 series has better design than most Realme phones along with bigger battery and fast charging.

Giorgi, 12 Mar 2020Am I the only one not seeing any info about fingerprint? Th... moreIt will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, I watched the announcements. I kinda liked it, it's one of the few things that weren't a complete disappointment about this phone.

This $200-250 market seems to be the most competitive. It probably decides the entire mid range smartphone camera range too, because every $50 above this range decides what customers look for more specifically, at every price bracket.

Sorry XM, i think you went too far out pushing multiple models with no significance differences. Better with less devices, more updates.

No OLED display, no high refresh rate, fairly mediocre chipset, useless macro/depth sensors, most of the hype and half of the announcement was gibberish about the phones 'ultimate beast insane ultra mega' design but it's a generic looking phone, literally nothing special about it. The back of the green version kinda looks like Mate 20 Pro but that's it.
BUT, the starting prices aren't all too bad. I was kinda worried about the 'Max' moniker, but it's basically a Redmi Note 8 Pro refresh, including the starting price - you get virtually nothing with Note 9 Pro Max over Note 8 Pro, but you also don't pay much more, so it's a fair deal.

Am I the only one not seeing any info about fingerprint? The image doesn't show it on the back, so does it mean it's UDF? So the screen is probably LED variety?
