i dont understand the comment about Google Play store... I have a Sony Xperia S, which I bought at a China Unicom vendor, and I have perfect access to the Google Play store, out of the box...
China loves to makes its own apps and I've gotten quite useful apps in the Play Store, which was submitted by Chinese developers.
On a side note, only in the last month have Nokia started selling their Windows Phone line up, and I'm seeing massive launches everywhere. Quite a big marketing drive.

I´m Chinese, but I don´t think any phone is better than Lumia 800 right now, and of course the coming Lumia 900 and Lumia PureView, so do my friends as well.

If the big smartphone makers don't make it anywhere here then we will see Huawei rise up. I think it will be between Sammy, Apple and Huawei if no one else can get into these markets. I think that the manufacturers may focus on the other markets as the likes of USA, Canada and Europe are all sorted I think. The money is in the developing markets now. Go Sammy anyway, Bring something sleek and good looking :) and a flaming good battery.

Excellent, this was bound to happen though.
I expect all the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) to show huge amounts of growth in the smartphone industry, these are emerging economies where a large amount of "the next billion" are and im pretty sure Samsung with Google Android will be the main driver of growth, the US is saturated, and im glad China has taken the top spot from them, their arrogance was getting a bit much especially in forums.

While Nokia all their parts from Compal and Foxccon except LCD and Memory from Samsung.

China can make high quality products as well if the company is willing to pay more. The sad thing is the companies these days don't wanna pay more and second they want the product to degrade in time so that their new stuff will be sold. Just think about it if you all going to use a product for 10 years without buying new ones how will the companies survive??
