There will be 2 models: Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro+, both versions will be 5G only. There will be no 4G version. The difference between the two versions is the camera system. The lower version will have a basic setup, while the higher version will have a proper optical zoom (5X optical zoom?).

Now here's the real issue. The Poco X2/Redmi K30 is a serious bendgate. Bend it hard, and the phone gets obliterated and crushed.

I suggest you to look up Gupta Information Systems in YouTube as they've durability-tested a multitude of low/mid-range smartphones (and the OnePlus 7) in India. There are both Hindi and English versions of the video.

The fingerprint sensor and the somewhat soft plastic is to blame for the excessive bend. Tester also leaked the battery by accident due to the bend. It just became a folding phone.

Xiaomi has been doing great with its recent upper-range phones such as the Mi Note 10, but could have paid more attention to its build quality on the lower-end devices. Until then, stick to a realme XT/X2 or X2 Pro, Samsung A71, or buy the older Redmi K20/K20 Pro.

Really looking forward to this. Hopefully (unlikely) price is under 500$

Yeah very reassuring. K20 Pro / Mi 9T Pro is out of stock already in Europe with prices going up like madness and there isn't even K30 Pro on the market yet.

                            how about no ?

this is not even midrange killer -_-

thank god, i got pocophone f1 instead of waiting for 2nd smartphone from poco feat, mi.

Sounds like a proper successor to the K30 Pro. I'm really looking forward to this phone.
