yep i would rather invest for an unlocked phone that branded, locked by a carrier...also, it's ugly seeing phone carrier's logo on the phone. definitely, going to by SGS3 and not the us version because i know they will MODIFY its original setting.

Why htc why ? Htc already loosing there market share and it looks like soon there will an end of htc. I will miss sense. S3 here I come my new love Sammy. ;)

No worries , it will be unlocked through a hack like all others and wont void your
warranty like with HTCDEV. People who are in to changing roms should know better

Who provides Android? Thought it was an open source project as like it is an extension of linux, correct? So allowing cellphone carriers to dictate like this should make them pay a premium for locking bootloaders. They are too greedy, and should be forced to remove their bloatware, as part of any deal. All phones to should be generic sim free by international law. Too much power held by service providers, too little freedoms.
