[deleted post]They're the only brand not in free fall in the western market. Not great, but a heck of a lot better than the competition. :)

Exynos underperforms significantly too much against its Snapdragon counterpart.

You have enough time to wake up from reality before your blind-handed foolishness destroys your life completely.
      I'm praying for you :((

You're really doubling down on dumb to stick to your Samsung hate, aren't you? I guess, we'll all have to become as inferior as you, because we care so much about your anonymous comment on this internet.

So the only one hurt gain will be you

And the corona outbreak certainly wont help :P

Shanti Dope, 24 Mar 2020The only one hurt here is the one using a 2-year old device... moreYes because there was proof Samsung had to lower performance to match Snapdragons performance.

Whereas you have no proof Snapdragon lowered their performance at all to match the Exynos this year :D

Its just a silly hater who making up conspiracy theories :D

Keep wearing your tin foil hat :P

But on the reviews I have seen, the video was naff on the Find X, and the still shots were poor. There audio recording was quite possibly the best I've heard since HTC U12. So, it ain't bias, only saying what I saw/heard. The Find X was against an S20, and the LG was against a Pixel 4. It's horses for courses, but that is what I saw. I think the LG was from Phandroid, can't remember who did the other. He actually liked the LG for video, but the lack of detail spoiled it for me, Pixel win all day long.

People be really defending Samsung's failure to deliver a polished product to the best they can, it's actually so fun!

Come on people, call me Samsung hater now as you'd obviously want to do so :-))
As if it's gonna change the fact that your favorite brand is desperate enough to compete to Chinese offerings, that they've failed big time in hopes to overcome them easily.

I'm pretty sure I was talking about the SD865 and Exynos 990 in general and not some 2-year old chipset that literally has NOTHING to do with the current generation :))

If a Chinese brand that Samsung keeps on underestimating could optimize their battery very well, then there's no reason for them, especially as a major global brand, to be unable to do the same.

Definitely I'd install a custom ROM if my phone is really this horrendous in the software side, but how about the majority of people who don't have any idea about this? So they're gonna settle for this mediocre overall experience that Samsung provides us? So damn rude on their part.
Let's just admit it, the S20 series, for the most part, is a failure in many ways.

                            The next question is.....

                            Can it sustain it?

                            If it can....

For how long? Will it overheat like crazy?
The SoC already burns way too much by just running moderate games for long periods of time in 1080p@60Hz.
Yes. Literally, in the most balanced configuration!

Having 1440p@120Hz on these phones will just destroy them instead. It's very unfair for those who can only purchase the Exynos variants as they'd have to pay as mucj as the Americans while having an inferior hardware overall.

I wonder if we can unlock the 4k@120fps on SD865.

There is no proof that the Snapdragon dropped performance down to match Exynos.

During S8 era the Exynos had to lock off 4k 60fps because Snapdragon couldnt do it.

                                https://www.xda-developers.com/enable-4k60fps-video-exynos-samsung-galaxy-note-8-galaxy-s8/

"For example, the Exynos 8895, which was launched in 2017, has official support for 4K@60fps video recording. However, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 doesnÂ’t have support for this feature, which is why Samsung restricted both the Samsung Galaxy S8/Galaxy S8+ and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to recording 4K video at 30fps. "

There is actual proof that Samsung and its Exynos had to hold back its video recording features because of the Snapdragon capabilities

Pixels have abysmal battery life. If you want the 2k and 120hz you have to sacrifice battery and it beats Pixels and the rest. If you turn it off then you get amazing battery life.

Its all down to choice for the user.

And if you read the article he was right with his leaks regarding the S20.

So if he says its happening soon then there is a high chance.. Dont worry when it is out I be there to remind ya ;)
