    No one has done a detailed before and after review of the same.

Besides, it's much clear with this naming, it's stick to the same product naming with the prowess inside it, but when the improvement of their product launch, it only added the roman numeral in the back, so it's easier to remember. Ex : A7R then A7R II, A7R III, A7R IV.

          Sure, in your perspective, this isn't the ideal naming for smartphone because you tend to be in comfort zone naming like Samsung or Xiaomi one, but, when you're bigger brother Camera division finally helping the smartphone division, well you should expect all Alpha's stuffs will brought over to Mobile...

              Every battery has protections to prevent explosion, it's not a new thing.

              Fast charging doesn't reduce capacity, get your facts right.
              It only degrades capacity if excess heat is generated which is kept in check with modern day fast charging tech.

              Sony unfortunately is a fish out of water when it comes to keeping heat away from the device. This is why they give 3 year old fast charging tech. All other chinese manufacturers are giving way faster wireless charging compared to Sony with wired charging.

              I suggest you read up on VOOC 4.0, the different materials and components used and then come back and talk to us.

You can't top off battery in half an hours without frying the battery. So either they do not top off the battery in half and hour or they just want you to buy a new phone every six months or so.                                 People don't talk about the xperia pro, because they know it's not for them, same applies to this. If you always wanna show your creative skills with your camera and watch movies the way the creator intended then, from personal experience the Xperia 1 is great, even in 2020.
