The thing is, bussines is about money not how much you sell. Xiaomi said they werent doing it for profit and thats why they are able to sell their phones for that price. Different companies are for different users. "Be more like xiaomi" "be more like apple" etc. Kinda arguments dont really see the point of samsung existing if they were gonna be like another company
Prices are high though. No they could NOT sell S20 Ultra for $700 but maybe $1100.

While all of you guys are cheering for the lower sales of S20 series, Samsung is probably getting as much money as they did with the S10 series. Since the Ultra is the most popular model and its $1400

There's just no S20e, the S10e had only dual cameras and 1080p display, so obviously it was cheaper.
S20+ is also the same price as S10+ launch price.

Don't blame only covid. They priced their phones to 1000usd this year, what did they expect? That they will raise the price 40% since 2017 and people will just continue buying? No way, especially since there are more value for money alternatives!

60 percent is very high ,, should have been 30%.. they spend a lot for research i accept but what is the use if the end product doesnt reach consumer...why cannot they sell s20 for 450$, S20 + for 550$ and s20 ultra for 700$.. sure it would have sold 500 times more.. instead of making huge profit from small sales should concentrate for massive sale.. xiomi does it, why not Samsung.. the fate of Samsung is getting sealed. Xiomi will be no.1, followed by viva and oppo, followed by realme and Huawei... the worst hit loser will be samsung and one plus.
I have predicted the rise of Huawei, but Huawei has made huge mistake..it merely makes announcement but never launches any...has anyone seen honor tv, huawei tv, laptop, tablet, oops nothing comes out of china.. so Huawei will not be global competitor just china market leader..one plus has no new innovations, despite oppo reno 10x ,sister company having periscope camera they failed to introduce in one plus.. i find nothing new in oneplus 8 too....xiomi has features be it 3.5mm Jack, infrared blaster, hybrid slot...oneplus doesn't have even ip68... similarly Samsung is very costly..in present situation on can buy k30 pro +black hero 8 + good mirrorless/entry dslr together for price of ultra..u can even add a good telescope to shopping list..
An oled 55 inch tv costv same as phone.. of course its Individual preferences..but Samsung as of now has sealed its fate to disappear like nokia...
