With the pandemic and all It's not really that surprising that they delayed it. But hopefully it will come soon.

I have the Apple Watch 5 and the Samsung Galaxy Active 2 (long-story), but I would say it's super disappointing when the market is expecting one thing and another is delivered....the only reason I bought the active 2 was for this feature as I have a history of paradoxical a-fib.

I chose this over Apple because of ECG. A new model might come out before this feature will be released.

The main reason I purchased the Galaxy Active 2 was that it would detect irregular heartbeats. Horrible, Just Horrible! Samsung should be ashamed that they advertised this feature to protect our health and couldn't deliver. I want my money back.

Getting the pulse rate and SpO2 is hit and miss especially in blacks. This feature is a long way from achieving the level of accuracy required for its approval by the authorities.

I bought this Watch for this feature, I had just bought a Samsung S8 phone and so thought it appropriate to buy this watch as I have a new heart condition I wanted to monitor, Well, 3 days ago the phone nied and Samsung slicked out of any warranty, a Week ago they told me this update was not immediately forthcoming, they Blamed the FDA, I see that is also a lie, it seems now I must buy both a new phone and a new Watch, Hmmmm Maybe Apple...

McArra, 27 Mar 2020Only bought this watch to have this feature, the rest of it... moreI love it, I came from Huawei Watch 2 and the GWA2 is much better in my opinion.
Faster and more responsive, plus a lot better display.
The strap held up with no issues so far when the Huawei one started to struggle in a few months and broke in less than year.

Only bought this watch to have this feature, the rest of it for me is not good at all. I prefer the Watch GT by a long way, seeing this it might be time to sell the Active 2, some of the worst pieces of hardware I've bought.

Wow.. if it ever comes it would be a near miracle.
Glad I got the original galaxy watch active... simple, cheaper and has the same functionality since a software update brought the rotating bezel.
