Sony will merge its phone, camera and home entertainment businesses

Basically every consumer electronics product except for the PlayStation will be under the new Sony Electronics Corporation effective April 1.

Sony really need to incorporate some of their real camera know how in to their phone cameras.
An xperia with Sony Alpha / minolta tech , g grade camera lens , etc would be nice.

    ain, 27 Mar 2020really shouldve done this 5 years agoright, i also think this is a right move. especially now that xperia becomes a niche.
    at least, it is possible to sell their phones on the same supply chain.
    they dont have to sell xperia through "retailers" selling other brands but only on dedicated sony stores. like in the philippines, sony stores are still on key cities. they still sell cameras, audio products - they even had events for this, televisions, but currently no xperia.
    so, this might help to sell xperia to the philippines. hope so.
