Xiaomi phones are always a good deal vs most other manufacturers. However, relative to their Redmi K30 5G that was released nearly 3 months ago, this phone is a flop.
Sure, the K30 5G lacks an AMOLED panel, but you lose nothing else and have a ton to gain. For instance, the Mi 10 Lite lacks the following features that are on the K30 5G:
- 120Hz panel (vs 60Hz)
- HDR10 panel
- Infrared port
- Bluetooth 5.1 (vs 5.0)
- NFC
- 4500mAh battery (vs 4160mAh)
- 30w fast charging (vs 20w)
- Very thin cutout with a 20mp selfie + depth sensor (vs 16mp notch)
- Larger main sensor 1/1.72" (vs 1/2")
- Was available in early January (vs early April)
And the finisher...
- 250€ for the base variant (vs 350€)
I would MUCH rather have all of those things in the K30 5G over the low quality AMOLED panel in this Mi 10 Lite. With all that being said, it's not a bad deal in the grand scheme of the smartphone market, but I would still never touch it.

How does the LITE version have expandable memory and headphone jack and the 'premium' phones can't even do either of these things? That's ridiculous...

Someone need to post a blogpost about 5G and if we really need it, it literally adds nothing to connection speed or anything compared to 4G/4G+ except that it increases the chances of you developping cancer from it

Nothing spectacular here. Cause of that 5g I must paid 100€ more. No thanks. Xiaomi redmi note 9 pro maks with bigger battery, faster charging speed, 64 mp back and 32 front camera for 250€ look much better for me.

It probably supports only half of 5g bands nokia 8.3 supports...even xiaomi mi10 phones support only half of 5g bands...look it up...so 5g is not really the strong point of these mi 10 phones...i am actually more interested in the good camera and audio performance...

I'd rather pay 150 more but having decent display with DCI-P3, amoled 90Hz, IP rating, better camera. Keep the soc as it's more than enough. Stereo speakers and nfc are a must too.
