Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite is a €350 5G phone with 48MP main camera

This is the most affordable 5G phone to date and it won't skimp on goodies like an AMOLED display. It's coming to Europe in early May.

My po... moreAbout Redmi brand vs Xiaomi brand, I also don't know about that and I think Xiaomi make consumer to be confused. We don't know exactly what part of the component makes Mi 10 Lite is more expensive than Redmi K30 5G because Xiaomi didn't give all the presentation about Mi 10 Lite.

    You're right that the camera could be better on Mi 10 Lite, but it's highly unlikely given the smaller sensor and the fact that Xiaomi didn't advertise which sensor they're using. If it's such a good sensor, it seems likely that they'd want to show it off. Furthermore, the camera on the K30 5G is the IMX686, which is the follow up to last year's IMX586 that showed up in practically every flagship, so the camera is certainly no slouch.

    Finally, I do not add any additional value to the Mi branding versus Redmi, so why should I pay extra for the name? I'm not willing to pay more for the logo.

            About rear and front camera, we can't comment it yet because for example rear camera result of Redmi Note 8 is better than Redmi Note 8 Pro. Maybe camera sensor of Mi 10 Lite is more expensove.

            Last but not least. Mi brand is more expensive than Redmi brand.. Lol

                  If you're concerned about battery drain from 120Hz, it can be disabled. K30 5G has TUV Rhineland blue light certification as well.

                  You very quickly dismissed the better cameras, higher refresh rate and bigger battery/faster charging as being meaningless. For a lot of people, including myself, these are all nice features.

                  Do I want AMOLED? Of course, but I'm not willing to spend an extra €80-100 for an overall worse phone just for the AMOLED panel.

                  K30 5G is available on AliExpress from several retailers for 265€~.

                    I'm not sure about the tear drop notch instead of a hole punch, but I do like this camera bump a lot.

                        But people ignore that purely to make their claims seem true.

                                - HDR10 panel - it has HDR 10+ and certification for blue light
                                - Infrared port - it has also
                                - Bluetooth 5.1 (vs 5.0)
                                - NFC - it has also
                                - 4500mAh battery (vs 4160mAh) - having amoled is almost the same thing or better
                                - 30w fast charging (vs 20w) - difference will be in minutes becouse k30 has a bigger battery
                                - Very thin cutout with a 20mp selfie + depth sensor (vs 16mp notch) - depends on the taste of each person
                                - Larger main sensor 1/1.72" (vs 1/2") - becouse is 64mp vs 48mp but with 6 lentils
                                - Was available in early January (vs early April) - who cares?

                                And the finisher...
                                - 250€ for the base variant (vs 350€) - 250€ is în China, not Europe. Bring to Europe any phone you want and it will be more expensive

                                You forget that k30 5G will be unavailable outside of China, so no waranty. Also K30 has 730G chip, not 765.
                                Is bigger, havier, almost for nothing.

Sure that this one will take better photos and video at half price, being a well rounded phone, cheap in few months and with the plus of 5G if your country is supported. Is a very good phone for its price. At the price of a Nokia 8.3 better go for the flagship phones and you win a lot.

                                    I prefer have a good telephoto camera so i'll choose other model. But for a lot of people this will be a really good deal soon.

                                      Honestly Redmi k30 5g is the better buy as it has 120hz and better cameras for a similar price
