Currently using the F1 since September 2018 it's been a great experience using this device. Just that I wish the F2 would come with a dedicated micro SD slot and the signature IR blaster like they had in every budget phone Xiaomi made earlier. Hopefully the audio jack remains this time as well.. awaiting for the launch of POCO F2..

AnonD-908380, 31 Mar 2020All they want is a top of the line flagship for a third of ... moreOnce India was a struggling country and its people, nowadays it's the other way around.
So much for the complain of rising phone taxes.
They need to cope with it as even other similar countries impose higher taxes and therefore sell more expensive devices.
Let's see what $265 phone exists with Sd865.

Not too much, read it n u'll know what the Pocophone F1 spirit.
Xiaomi's announcements have been relatively predictable so far, but the introduction of a new Poco sub-brand was a surprising move. It sounds like a marketing experiment - deliver flagship specs at cutthroat prices. Sound familiar?

Use dimensity 1000L instead not dimensity 1000 nor sd865

I don't need 6 cameras. With one is enough to make photos of docs...plus front Camera for video call.
Just an idea....bring Redmi note 7,change the chipset with SD 855 then call this PoCo F2.
Come on,Xiaomi...Cia you.

SD865 alone is $160.
All cameras at least $50.
At least $40 for screen.

They should keep the IPS LCD on the F series then just retain the flagship SoC. IF they went the other way around AMOLED + midrange SoC, F2 would be DOA.

$265 phone with flagship specs? Come on that's impossible, even a realme X2 Pro costed above $300. Unless you want the handset to kink and bend like the regular Poco X2/Redmi K30. These people need common sense and at least work harder to buy a handset of their liking.

The F2 should be uniquely POCO like the F1 was. It would be quite sad if it was another rebranded Xiaomi/Redmi phone.

Sad to see "affordable flagships" type phones come to an end
