I search at Wikipedia that Amoled Screen is "The higher resolution and dpi were made possible due to a change in materials and new manufacturing process, though still using shadow mask (or fine metal mask (FMM)) technology. However this required a change back to pentile RGBG subpixels." and it is real good explanation and the Bad news but there is good news why Samsung use Pentile Super Amoled for a while is here "Samsung is expected to introduce a new screen using "Real Stripe" RGB subpixels with the move to the laser-induced thermal imaging (LITI) process. This may be called "HD Super AMOLED Plus". The change to LITI is also said to be an important step toward commercializing OLED TVs." if you read this they will release the new technology maybe next year or the next Google Nexus Phone have the "HD Super Amoled Plus" be patient... I think I will wait lol...

i don't get the logic.. fewer blue pixels will mean it will be even worse than normal rgb

That is what I said before on the launching day of S3, Samsung engineers are not stupid.
Another advantage samsung didn't mention now and I mentioned before, is that Super AMOLED displays are brighter in sunlight than the Super AMOLED plus displays.

If the problem is that blue pixels degrade faster, then what's going to keep the blue pixles in a pentile matrix from degrading at the same rate?
And what about Tab 7.7 owners that got the HD Sup Am Plus screens?
Someone somewhere hasn't thought this (excuse) through...

actually this is true. My SGS2 display has degraded and now the display color temperature become very very warm. I hate it!

Means Samsung is cheating with us.I just bought Galaxy S2. it is not good.I'll not buy Samsung phone anymore.don't know how many other faults they hide.

Pentile will not save the SGS3 from SCREEN BURN-IN or PERMANENT IMAGE RETENTION or GHOSTING. It will probably happen after 3 months of heavy use. Best to go with phones with LCD screens.

I just can not understand all this fuss with the PenTile screen!
Super AMOLED technology is fantastic and HD Amoled is still better. Really suberbo!
Arent you being too picky, with something that we can only see with microscopic magnification?!
This screen is fantastic, with vibrant colors, super sharp and crisp, and contrast like no other! Not even to mention the true blacks it produces!
So forget the PenTile, (because you guys will not even see it), and enjoy this beautiful screen and mobile phone!
