So what if you returned your s20 ultra within 10 days in excellent condition? do u still get FULL refund or just 50% refund? can u still get the old phone back that u traded in?

it says
"up to 50%" if you want to get close to that your phone better be in mint condition which means you best be running dark mode in ALL apps to keep that burning low, along with a heavy-duty case and maybe in a cloth in the case itself to make sure it doesn't scuff or chip ever.

The important part here to take notice of is the words: "UP TO 50%".
You will never get 50% buyback price. The device has to be in mint condition meaning it should have stayed in the box the entire time.
Most buyers will get max 0-20% buyback price. Noone will get 50%. Very very few will get 30-40%.

... moreExynos soc is much inferior to their snapdragon counterparts in efficiency gpu isp and overheats like no tomorrow and thats a fact. Exynos is not made to deal with anything because Exynos 990 reaches 66 degrees celcius after 2 benchmark runs while snapdragon 865 reaches around 40 degrees celcius. Snapdragon is snappier in things like camera ui aswell. I hope the collaboration with AMD improves the gpu and beats apples best because garys speedtest g from android authority shows that 2018 iphone with 1242p resolution has better gpu performance than 2020 samsung in 1080p with snapdragon 865 processor which is way better than exynos 990 in general
In short exynos needs to improve ALOT just to be competitive with apple and (especially) quallcomms best

This is in fact, beneficial to the company itself.
If they give $700, the device may be itself worth ~ $400 or so in the second hand market.
As for the ~ $300 loss, I suspect its an acceptable marketing cost for the new Samsung phone you're getting. In fact, its a way to make customers again.
And not to mention, the stuck money in the Samsung credit will earn interest, and some might not even spend it at all, probably forgetting about it.

Samsung makes processors because they sell well. In fact, better than any other phone brand in the world, by a country mile.
Samsung makes phone processors with industry designs, to enable them to make great functioning phones, no matter what you use them for. Hence, Samsung's Exynos based flagships generally feel a lot snappier and fluid than their Snapdragon dittos.
Samsung pushes silicone development more than other brands, by finding new ways to push technology forward. This year, for instance, it's very likely we'll see a Samsung phone with an AMD GPU, which potentially could rock the evolution of mobile graphics the way the old PowerVR processors did in the early years of smartphones.
Without Samsung processors, we could very well still have been content with Nokia style lag as a de facto standard today, as we did for ten years before Samsung decided to super charge Moore's Law.

It is a decent deal if you happen to be in a position to make a purchase, but you should not make your purchase for the sake of this offer. Hope other phone-makers will offer similar deals.
