If and I mean if the desire c has 600mhz it wont be good! 800mhz is more likely as sony has a similar rumoured xperia that is running ics on 800mhz with old adreno 200 graphics! I wont be buying as I have superb live walkman with 1ghz and ics in a week or two! Its also cheaper than htc and beats it in all but screen size 3.2 v 3.5inch! If htc gets the price right then this phone will sell well. Dual core would be helpful as it will challenge samsungs new galaxy aces and hopefully challenge the awful galaxy minis!

AnonD-54582, 13 May 2012Well for that price you have to sacrifice something, its no... moreYou cant overclock a 600MHz procesor to 1.2 GHz...Wildfire S can be overclocked only to 806 MHz and its not very stable. This should cost max.120 Euro, because Huawei Ascend g300 has 1 Ghz procesor and a 4 inch wvga screen for only 110 Euro...

We've to wait untill htc announce it as official but if it wud still have 600 cpu then it'd really suck..it must be overclocked around 1GHz. if htc think they'd be popular producing a phone like 600Mhz running ICS then they're really a big fool. htc should think like samsung. thats why htc loosing their market & samsung growing up. hTc do something quietly brilliant, dont just say it.

150euro with the specs will make sense. If not I dont see any sense HTC to produce this low end but not even got any sale?

I've heard that Virgin Mobile UK will be selling these from 1st June. But no other details, however I'm a little sad that they've labeled this phone with the Desire brand instead of Wildfire as the low specs (if true) would sit better on the Wildfire.

This is sooo weird HTC. You say the Desire Z is not capable of running ICS, yet this device, which has lower specifications overall, is capable.

                      SHAME ON YOU.

Well for that price you have to sacrifice something, its not like this is is a flagship phone, its made for low budget. atleast Htc hasn't sacrificed on the phones quality for price, it looks stunning :) and as far as performance is concerned you can buy this phone and push the speed upto 1.2ghz! Thats twice its regular speed and put a vanilla ics rom its will work flawlessly! And i'm sure Htc wouldn't put sense 4.0 if its slowing down the phone, it will work well for normal usage but don't expect high end games to work on a low budget phone. I just hope this phone is in indian stores by next month within 10k INR

Half year old LG Hub is better and cheaper than this phone, I had a performance trouble with HTC Wildfire with 528mhz cpu and i guess this phone will be also under-power for its tasks. Htc with this kind of phone making bad reputation with their costumer, 600mhz is just to low for ISC and today app

ICS CANT be smooth on a 600mhz phone in a daily usage, this is android, a system which will be slower in any ways days after you bought it.

That's android, dont think because it has hardware acceleration it will be smooth now, if the processor is cheap, it wont be that smooth, sadly :/

Many ppl think ics doesn't support on 600mhz phones and that it requires more processor speed than gingerbread, thats wrong! Actually any phone that can support gingerbread can run ics, and ics has hardware acceleration so it will run faster compared to gingerbread. I'm sure this phone should have adreno 205 gpu and its processor has been underclocked frm 800mhz or 1ghz stock to 600mhz so if anyone feels that its slow can overclock it to 1ghz without any issues :) one thing i want to know about this phone is that its body is made of plastic or polycarbonate like the one x?

I remember HTC saying ICS on Desire S,1Ghz processor,Ardeno 205,having a too slow processor, and not getting ICS,after a while, they said will get ..can't trust them anymore in statements
