-both are handheld devices
-both take good images
-808 can upload images on the fly, Canon can also if wifi SD card is used.
-808 can be considered as a mobile computer, Canon isnt
-808 can surf the web, Canon cant
-Canon is a Single Lens Reflex Camera but 808 isnt BUT can still take great pictures as seen on the samples (goolge it)
-808 can be used as a GPS Map and also take location tagging. Canon can only do location tag but with a usb dongle and cant do gps nav
just a few comparison feel free to add some more. TO be fair lets compare your 720p pentile screen to a HD TV.
-small screen vs big screen 1080p where do you prefer watching movies or playing games?
-720p eats a lot of battery making your mobile device useless when it runs out but HD tv doesnt since its plugge in
-720p Droids can do FB, twit, etc. BUT Smart TV can as swell
-720p droids are mobile devices so watching movies on the go is WIN!... but image quality is un-noticable due to low screen size to resolution and sound quality is cr@p and will drain battery and will make it again a useless device. (you need at least 32 inches to get the beauty of 720p video not a 5" device)
-Droid can play cr@p 3d games on the go WIN! but you will run out of battery before finishing the whole game in one sitting. HD TV plug a console and play up to 12 hours or more
feel free to add some more.
Conclusion
-Camera Use in general, a Camera Phone that can do much more feature wise than a Canon 7d but both can achieve possibly similar 8mp images quality wise at the cost of the DSLR bulky size... what will you choose? bring a dumbphone and your Canon with you limiting on how you transfer your photos on the fly? ok good choice bro!
-Visually no one in the right mind will prefer looking at a 720p 4.8" screen rather than a LED/Plasma 32" 1080p TV... oh wait fandroids does!!!!!!!
