It's $50 more but it's most certainly more than $50 better. Here is all the superior aspects of the 7 Pro,
- The vastly superior design, with a screen to body ratio over TWENTY PERCENT HIGHER.
- The battery which is literally over twice as large if the SE uses the same on as the 8.
- The vastly superior display which is AMOLED, 90hz, and nearly 5 times the pixels.
- The vastly superior cameras that are in a whole other realm of quality.
- The 256 gigs of storage.
- The RAM which is probably gonna be 2.6 times more capacious if they go with 3 gigs.
- The charging speed which is likely gonna be about 2x faster if they go with 15W.
The ONLY downside is the SoC. Which is the 855 in the 7 Pro. Though that's not really gonna be an issue with the amazing OxygenOS skin from OnePlus which has been shown to be so optimized it beats iOS in a ton of speed tests. The new SE is terrible.

From past couple of year imo only XZ2 Compact and R2 Compact are mention-able, but XZ2 has already aged and isn't even available normally (Only from some shady 3rd party sellers... Also Sony decided to discontinue the compact lineup) and R2 isn't even available in my country. Even if I managed to get it here, I'd have to be ready to pay almost 1000$ for it... I don't think so!

Nothing, not a single flagship phone nowadays come with height shorter than 140mm and with narrower than 50mm.

The pricing could also help other people jump on Apple brand.
Finally, big phones these days are common, phones this small are not.

And get over yourself. You clearly don't know that much about realmi. And anyone who's actually used iOS devices has experienced lags and crashes. Lots in fact if it's anytime before the last year or two. LOTS

Wish it was even smaller, i.e. 4 inch screen minus the top bezel and the home button.
But the leaked design is fine IMHO albeit being relatively outdated compared to their recent offerings
