Blutbad-fuchsbau, 07 Apr 2020Last April, the Zenfone 6 was launched, and released in May... moreAsus seems to have much less interest in smartphone business lately. At-least from 2019 onward I have seen this trend. Maybe they are not able to garner the level of profit in the ultra competitive smartphone market which they are used to in computers & its peripherals market.

Saying that I am quite interested on Asus 6z, provided the price is right and I get the hands on the silver edition. The launch price for 8/256 GB in India was INR 40,000 which came down to INR 31,000 recently. Still it is way overpriced when you have the likes of RealMe X2 Pro [8/128 GB] at INR 30,000.

So no VoLTE for at all for other networks ?

But I couldn't find anything other than the leak which was released over 2 months back. That leak isn't legit, as even zenfone 6 leaks didn't have the flip camera, last year, in March.

Either ways it censors a lot and gives you biased results.

Blutbad-fuchsbau, 07 Apr 2020Last April, the Zenfone 6 was launched, and released in May... moreAll the sources have confirmed that it won't have flip camera design but it might have waterproofing instead.
Also the camera would be a 108mp sensor, the same used By Xiaomi and Motorola.

AnonD-908380, 07 Apr 2020Asus is bigger than you think. Their smartphone division mi... moreASUS is massive but their phone division is really small.
Compared to Samsung that is most likely 10-50 times bigger in that department if not more and I would not be surprised if the spending that Samsung uses in their phone department is like 100 times or more compared to ASUS.
Most likely I'm even using low numbers but it's all guesses.

ASUS have a huge computer and component business and they have absolutely nothing to do with phones which is very small and way smaller than most top 5-10 players in that business.

                        That's fantastic news !

Last April, the Zenfone 6 was launched, and released in May. It's the second week of April, and no news about the Zenfone 7. I hope the Zen7 packs the same flip design, but a better camera set with a larger focal length,(f/1.7) as well as a larger sensor(1/1.2") and at least fixes the distribution of the phone as last year, they had a huge distribution problem.

A zenfone 7 lite with Snapdragon 765 would be a welcome addition to the Zenfone family, since the Zenfone max pro series is already more than 3 years old.

These two is the only companies (oneplus used to but not anymore) i know that send current month security patch in the first two week of current month. Be grateful when most other companies flagship dont even have march security right now
