ST, 07 Apr 2020This problem has plagued multiple G6 users (myself included... moresorry but i dont belive in you, thats was my problem too but going to a service menu, a hidden one that every LG phone have i was able to deactivate the moisture sensor or what is called and that problem just fixed with that.

But, you look like your know-how is poor, maybe XDA language is too much for you, you should buy an iphone then.

ST, 07 Apr 2020This problem has plagued multiple G6 users (myself included... moreSorry if it sounded like that, but i have by far resolved every problem presented to me. I dont cry, i work. I know every corner of LG phones in past 8-9 years, most of the problems and resolutions. No mocking included. I have a V30, i had a problem never seen before... It was seen, but ppl managed to fix it one way or another. Mine sadly didnt fix with any solution i was presented with. I found some workarounds, some solutions that worked only for me. Another same problem appeared after i installed official Android 9.0 onto it, phone was not working at all. In the end i reinstalled the system back to 8.0 and everything is back to normal. My problem at first started after i went to record for an hour straight in an intense rain, one of the worst rains that happened here in a while. Apparently that damaged my phones port (i have had it for like a year at the time). Rn i have had it for 2.5 years and its still rocking.
PS: By any chance, did an arrow appear on ur battery?

Definitely would love to see this new soon-to-be-gone G-series phone for about half the price of the V60 ThinQ 5G.

FeederEater, 07 Apr 2020Sorry but if u cant resolve such a simple "problem" urself,... moreThis problem has plagued multiple G6 users (myself included). I tried every possible solution listed on google, LG forums, XDA and whatnot, but the only solution seemed to be to replace the charging port, which would have cost me more than selling the phone outright. Kindly avoid using such a condescending tone and try using your "superior" skills to find out the seriousness of the problem before mocking people for it.

SmartButCool, 07 Apr 2020Lg g6 is my last phone. I will never buy a LG phone again. ... moreSorry but if u cant resolve such a simple "problem" urself, then u really should not use smartphones. Thats something that happens on all phones, ur phone doesnt have to be in water nor near it, simple rain and humidity can activate the warning (some bugs exist as well, but they are easily fixable and avoidable). U can remove the warning with a few simple steps. There is Google, u just type ur problem and find a solution, thats what its there for. And i know it from my experience, managed to fix a lot harder and actual real problem concerning "Dry the port" problem... U simply dont evaluate a certain phone by a "problem" like that. If u want to rate phones, then use a Samsung phone, they have the most problems by far. But noone mentions common Samsung problems that are extremely huge, just coz its a Samsung. A trash company that has actual common bootloops on models such as Galaxy S8, wifi/motherboard dying multiple times on any kind of mid/high/flagship phone. I work with phones and repair them, by far i have had the most cases with Samsung phones. All ppl with LG phones were extremely pleased with their phones (especially knowing that they payed for them 60% of the price of a Samsung/Apple phone).

Good to see LG never gives up

Lg g6 is my last phone. I will never buy a LG phone again.

My g6 was no where near water but it was keep saying that the port is wet. And not accepting charging because of that, Even after few weeks of drying the phone. Even after resting the phone for 2 times same problem comes now and then.

For all the readers i have no favorite phone brand. I used iPhone 4s, 5, 5s, 6Plus, 6s, 7 Plus, iPhone X, and now iPhone 11 Pro,
              SONY Xperia 10, Xperia XZs,
              htc One M8,
SAMSUNG Galaxy S3, S4, S6 edge Plus, 7 Edge, S10, S20 Plus (currently my daily driver with iPhone 11 Pro and Blackberry classic)
              Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi 9,
              Huawei P20,
              LG G6 ( worst phone ever )
Blackberry Classic Q20 (i am still using this),
Nokia 7 plus, Nokia 9 pure view

              So no brand loyalty.

It has (almost) the same CPU architecture, only different in modem.
But, yes, the price is too pricey...
Even the 730 is too pricey, and that's why qualcom release the 720
(qualcom should just lower the 730 price instead of releasing the 720... awkward)

Snapdragon needs to match Kirin 820 and Dimensity 1000L because 865 is too far ahead of their mid-range lineup.

765 looks nice, but it's not widely used it seems, probably because it adds very little performance over 730 compared to the increased cost of 5g or they'ee simply not pushing it since they're working on new stuff. A GPU boost to it would be a welcome improvement.
