Need new keyboard. If samsung can do the similar functions as Apple magic keyboard. That would be great and I will buy some for sure.

    Good for Samsung and their Supporters.
    I checked this Week Prices for tablet S6 and it is about 600€.
    With knowing that Updates for Android tablets are coming only once like my french Archos Oxygen 133, sticked on Marshmalloe 6.o and knowing that iPad gives Promises through 5 Years update,I am supporting iPad as my next choice.
    Spend more 400€ for longlasting Tablet seems to me good Investition. I need something that lasts more then two years and starting to become slower and slower because absence of different updates. And this one old Tablet I am usimg for reading docs and Comics. IPad should be used for much more things which androud tablets cannot perform.
    I am gonna to buy iPad only ones and try it. I cannot say iPad is not good because I did not even try it. Always should to be given chance to another option. Everyone is free to decide for himself/herself.
    It is like some People are saying they dont like some food,but how you know it when you did not try it.

            I'm glad to see Samsung isn't giving up on Android Tablets, and even happier to see them getting back into the larger screens. Though it could never hope to sell as well as the iPad, the Tab S6 was a tremendous tablet in ways that no other Android/ChromeOS tablet ever has been. So many of them reach out for the budget market, but the only other one I know that's dipped into the premium class was the Huawei Mediapad M5 (which had better speakers than the Tab S4, but not the S6).

            For my money, the freedom to continue using 32bit apps/games that the iPad is cut off from, freedom regarding my UI/default apps, freedom to install from outside the Play Store without playing the certificate game, ability to utilize the resolution of the monitor I'm outputting to (monitor output is more often than not letterboxed & pillarboxed on iPad) makes the Tab S6 more valuable to me...

            ...and since iOS13's filesystem still doesn't bring the level of compatibility, compliance and standardization that Android's had since donut, the Tab S6 is what I keep on my person while my iPad Pro's boxed up in the closet.

            I do hope they're a little smarter about their keyboard case this time, that suction seal thing they made for the S6 was (and still is) trash.

I sure hope tablet manufacturers realize fast that supersized 16:9 widescreen tablets with 4K to 8K screen resolutions are the next in big thing in tablet evolution both literally and figuratively - certainly not for productivity but for multimedia centric use and consumption.

              Laptops specialize on productivity as productivity will always need a keyboard and trackpad/mouse for ease of use, need real power, speed and comfort. And people hate it when they need to bring a keyboard, a mouse and other accessories (Apple pencil?) everytime they need to do productive work. Just bring a 1 piece ultra portable laptop and you wont worry you forgot to bring that mouse or keyboard or stylus or what-have-you for your 'PRO' tablet.

              Huge tablets will enable lighweight, portable big screen enjoyment to watch Netflix, YouTube and browse photos and Facebook anywhere people go, personally, or with a small group of friends. A USB type C digital TV dongle will complete the portable TV/ portable multimedia device experience, so even with no internet, you still get to enjoy. Besides that's what micro SD card storage and Netflix's offline movie download feature is for. Mobile/personal smart tv/big tablet rolled into one? Why not?

              It would be like bringing in a PERSONAL TV screen or monitor with you everywhere you go. Only better, because it's lightweight, no power supply needed because its got battery, it's internet ready, has 1TB or larger storage for offline movies. Add to that Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, messenger and all the multimedia apps and things you want to do in a big screen and it should be unlimited entertainment anywhere you go no accessories needed.

It doesn't sensor bad comments about Apple products that Apple routinely censors in its websites. What do you expect in this Samsung article? Praising Apple's crippled iPads for their fixed storage and disposable accessories like that Apple pencil that becomes obsolete with a new iPad model? You like a suffocating walled garden that is jurassic technology and is only incorporating now what android had for years, and still, the iPad implementation (widgets, app drawer, customization, file sharing/file management, peripherals sypport) is still too shabby and clunky (beta software grade) for a supposedly premium product experience, just because you enjoy the Apple logo? I actually have no problem with that. Just say you bought a sports coupe because it makes you arrive with finesse, elegance and style and not because it really is a more spacious, comfortable road experience than a regular SUV.

                  Hello Life, 09 Apr 2020Apple has 1 TB storage option (Ipad pro 2018 and 2020) and ... moreCongratulations if you truly are privileged to have SUPERFAST unlimited 5G connectivity everywhere you go (which I seriously doubt) and that you can afford and are willing to waste money for cloud services that needs unlimited data, gets hacked once in a while and that you are willing to shell out more than $1,649 for a 1TB 12.9" iPad PRO with LTE which you only use for Candy crush, YouTube, Facebook and Netflix.
                  (Samsung users can get the same 1TB in micro sd storage expansion by the way for around $350 (Sandisk) - or better yet, have 512GB for as low as $80 (Lexar, one I have).

                  The iPad pro can have all the tablet optimized apps in the world but as I said, what do 99.9% of people do on a big 10"+ tablet? Facebook, photo viewing, Netflix, YouTube, browsing, shopping, music listening, reading, videos, occasional gaming - pvz, coc, mobile legends, etc. You seriously think people with ipads do any sort of 'PRO' activities or make use of Photoshop or other productivity apps better done on desktops and laptops? Get real! You'll achieve more for so much less and with greater ease using a real desktop/laptop with keyboard and mouse. You can claim to be the 0.1% of iPad owners who actually does something productivity related but even for a real professional, I seriously doubt you spend more hours on a tablet doing productivity work than regular, mundane, media consumption things. Just look at all those ipad users. Most are kids of rich dads and all they do is Netflix, YouTube and Facebook all day long ad infinitum and complain they need to upgrade to larger storage options. Bottom line: you really buy an iPad 99.9% if the time because of the Apple logo and nothing else. 0.1% of the time because you really are a professional who uses the iPad for 1% producivity and 99% multimedia and entertainment.

And you can basically do anything with that port. Add a external HDD, SSD, thumb drive, sd card reader, mouse, keyboard , dac.... anything . The ipad 2018 is even cheaper than tab s6 in most countries, now that the ipad pro 2020 is in stock. Apple pencil and airpods both can charge via any brand wireless chargers. Not only that You can use any and every capacitive stylus with ipads. There are are great 3rd party stylus from Logitech and other reputed brands that support force and angled stylus reaction. You can use any Bluetooth device with ipads. You are forcefully bashing a particular brand and hating on it for personal reasons.. and not to mention spreading misinformation. All these are against GSMARENA policy. (No bashing - deliberately and repeatedly bashing the same brand) (No trolling - deliberately antagonizing other brand/model users). If you don't want your comments to be deleted and your account to get blocked, refrain from doing these.

And in every way possible the ipad is better. performance, display, external peripheral support ( dedicated accessories) , external storage support, better audio ( wolfson DAC), ease of tablet file transfers ( seriously? what is this), Android customization experience??? again what is this? do you mean by adding wallpapers and themes and widgets.. well Apple has widgets, you can change wallpapers, and you can go dark mode. I swear I own a samsung phone and an Ipad.. and I serious don't care about all these. When you are a professional you need what is mandatory and not this kind of fringes. If you use both for a few days you will know that the professional software that are on ipad are tuned for that device itself. (Seriously editing and compiling software on ipad is faster than my desktop with ryzen 3600x). I don't know how apple managed to do this but yes it's true. On the other hand 99% software on samsung or any other tablet are just enlarged non-optimized mobile apps. Just try to work on both in adobe Photoshop and illustrator , you will notice that android app on samsung tablets or any other desktop emulator is jagged and unresponsive. It is true for every app out there. not to mention the sd cards that you insert are so slow and outdated that you can't do anything on them other than storing movies and music. We all stream those nowadays ain't we. With 5G and fast wifi we don't need external storage at all. Yes you will need them still if you stay in Africa/Antarctica or any 3rd rate country. My main point is, Ipad is genuinely a tablet like surface tablets/ wacom tablets and you can do things that you can't do in smartphones.Samsung tab s6 is basically an enlarged Galaxy Note device, that is worse in many cases.

But r... moreEdit - It won't in raw processor speed and software updates but everything else (storage options, compatibility with PC, keyboard, mice, thumb drives, external portable hard drives, Android customization, file trasfers and file management, screen sharing, overall freedom and ease of use, you'll understand why I call Apple's iOS and iPadOS - JURASSIC technology motivated by Apple's greed to make everything disposable, a money making scheme - from Apple pencil to Airpods to proprietary connections, chargers and cables to intentionally slowing down phones and tablets.

Because it gives you a better experience than a premium SUV? NOPE. The only reason is to tell everyone you meet, you have fine taste for things expensive. THAT IS THE IPAD PRO and Apple's marketing strategy. Unless you accept the fact you bought the iPad for the Apple logo, you'll never be true to yourself and your motivation.

It's not only expandable storage/unlimited micro SD storage that people want in a tablet. It's also the big, wide screen experience, the excellent audio, the freedom and ease of PC to tablet file transfers and seamless compatibility with keyboards and mice (wired or wireless), compatibility with thumb drives and limitless customization experience in ANDROID.

                            Things which the Ipad pro with its JURASSIC iPadOS, can never provide even with GUARANTEED 5 year software updates.

                            It hurts, doesn't it? It's like buying a powerful 2-door sportscar with limited cabin space when what you needed for your family 99.9% of the time was a premium SUV for regular daily commutes and special family outings. Try owning a tab S6 and you'll know how much you're missing. Unless of course if only the Apple logo matters to you and nothing else.

Micro sd cards were never meant for gaming just as heavy gamers would never use a big touch screen tablet for gaming because it's too cumbersome to use! Therefore, your iPad Pro's bionic processor and ULTRA FAST but SEVERELY limited storage options is worthless for 99.9% of tablet users. Micro SD card is used to store Netflix and 4K movies, photos, music, and for other online media for Maximum big screen enjoyment. Get it?

A few Netflix series movie offline downloads and your iPad pro with fixed storage because
                                the lowest storage option is all you can afford becomes an expensive, worthless piece of junk stuttering like hell because it's storage is full.

                                    For one thing UFS 3.0 supports speeds up to 2900MB/s, as if that means that much without looking at things like the controller, IOPS and caches. Second, Apple's NVMe *is* flash memory, unless they're using Xpoint or MRAM (as if)
                                    Also how is it beneficial to suggest someone's too poor to buy your team's product? Is inflated pricing a good thing to you?

                                      Samsung will never beat IPAD at that Price ... the Tab S6 is very expensive for an android tablet with Snap dragon 855 ...

                                        and if you want more storage you have two options , the cloud OR buy the higher capacity version.

                                        SD cards are crap and slow their speed are like 150MB/s while NVME on IPAD is 2500MB/s thats why Apple never uses SD cards.
