You'll wonder why Apple despite updating iPads for up to 5 years will still end up with a jurassic product with zero customization, 100% restriction and an OS still as DUMB as before only slower this time after Apple intentionally slows it down.

Can we please have flagship specs? CPU, ram and storage should at least be the same as the note line

Hello Life, 08 Apr 2020Well atleast they make devices that need to be slowed down ... moreActually, after a few Netflix downloads on an iPad, a few 4K video recordings and a few high resolution photods, it becomes instantly useless because there's no more storage available snd it begins to stutter like hell. No need to wait for a year.

Hello Life, 08 Apr 2020Well atleast they make devices that need to be slowed down ... moreRepeating your sad confirmation bias lies won't make them come true.
Apple is the ONLY company slowing down devices. It's sad to see brain wash victims like you not understanding that.

[deleted post]Well atleast they make devices that need to be slowed down Intentionally .. whereas on the android side you don’t even have to do anything.. it automatically slows down within a year or two and becomes unusable far quicker.

Samsung! Add at least as much RAM as your S20 Ultra to these tablets.

Tbh, tablet as a whole is a market that not doing well. Not many people will say they must need a tablet in their life. iPad pro is more of a laptop replacement since it's quite capable. Android tablet is not that powerful. The software quality is just not there yet. But I gotta give credit to Samsung since they are the only android tablet makers that really trying. Probably the best android tablet makers out there. If only they can make a tablet do even more than it can now that would be great.

8" is the ideal size for a tablet, would be nice to see one with flagship specs and pen support.

                              I want a small 7-8 inch Tab S.

Eh, it's not really copying. Samsung did release 12"+ display before Apple, but didn't continue the size because of it's unpopularity at the time. Now that people are liking bigger displays, they are using this opportunity to test the waters again.

Larger screens would be perfect for what 10" and larger tablets are mostly used for: Movies/Netflix, Photo viewing, YouTube, Facebook, reading, browsing, shopping and other media consumption. For this demographic, micro sd storage expansion for unlimited offline movie downloads, a big long lasting battery, and a high resolution high quality screen and audio quality is mandatory. Things which the jurassic iOS/iPadOS and obscenely priced iPads can never provide even with 5 years of guaranteed software updates.

They make a Galaxy Note pro 12.2 years ago before Apply ever made a large tablet. I'm glad they're returning to making larger tablets. Go big or go home.

I applaud Samsung for trying out larger screen sizes. One of these may well be on my shopping list.

I hope one of them will have a 4K screen, it’s disappointing how there still isn’t a 4K tablet.

The lack of a headphone jack will be disappointing.

As others have said, Apple provides timely software updates for years, my IPad Air 2 is on iOS 13, although that may be the last, I don’t think the tab s6 is even on Android 10 yet.
