Surprisingly I'm seeing a better fingerprint reader response and over all no bugs or crashes so far. The battery life has dropped very lil. I had issues with my left thumb print not getting recognized for unlocking (like 1 in 3 success), now it unlocks instantly.

After 3rd Time Updated to Andriod 10, in Xiaomi Remote app is fully not working, in sony tv , the back button and home button is diabled, why Xiaomi

JSJF, 09 Apr 2020Updated, here my comment about it: The android One UI st... moreNo, Android One does not suck in particular, but Android One support from Xiaomi sucks. They are intentionally doing this to do positive marketing for MIUI.

Even the custom rom support for Mi A series devices is better than Xiaomi's Android One. This shows how bad Xiaomi's Android One support team is compared to custom rom devs.

Companies are free to implement any custom additions to the UI just like Motorola does.

And update is pulled back again. You guys gotta do an exposé on how bad Xiaomi's Android One software has been.

Something weird happened with this update and now UI elements don't scale properly consistently if you use a custom pixel density.

For instance, the Mi A3's AMOLED display is good when you can change the color calibration which is non-existent in Android One but it's counterpart CC9e with MIUI has color palette for color correction.

Updated, here my comment about it:

The android One UI still sucks real bad, swipe navigation is limited, and the "Dark Mode" isn't really dark mode at all. Some parts of the system are dark, while others are grayed. Not fully utilizing the Amoled panel.

You still can't remove the stupid Google bar down below at your home screen, only way to overcome this is with a launcher.

Always on display is so limited in functionality. The only thing that can be displayed is your Time and Battery percentage.

Again, the dark mode, isn't really dark mode, apps with bright background still remains the same, nothing is changed.

My advise is, for anyone who thought that Android One is good, no, it is not.
Believe me, go get one of them phones with MIUI instead. Android One sucks real bad, and there is no way to go around it.

Just updated. No issues so far, running smooth. UI feels slightly more snappier than before. Would be interesting to see if the low brightness bug is resolved with this update.

Anonym, 08 Apr 2020Official store with direct Xiaomi warranty, not third party... moreMaybe they have bug in system and can't change price, who knows haha.. Anyway this phone does not worth more than 150 euros, and that was a case since launch day, my opinion, and also this phone was available in November last year (5 months ago), for 130 euros brand new, sealted box etc. Why is now 250, even officially, who knows. After couple od months (or weeks), starting price goes down, with all phones (even iPhones are now have lower price than price from Spetpember of 2019..), and for 160 euros, now, you can buy Note 9s in 4/64GB configuration. The phone with full hd resolution, one class better soc (720g=8nm), Android 10 out of the box etc.. So yea it seems , Xiaomi cares for androidone 0%. Also i heard that even Google tginking about shutdown Androidone programm in a near future, we will se.

                        Go to here:
                        https://www.mi.com/es/mi-a3/

                        and hit "comprar ahora"

Pretty much every other official retailer has similar pricing, even Amazon (the ones sold by Amazon itself, not some other seller "fulfilled by Amazon").

Last time i checked this phone (mabe in december of 2019), it was 199 euros for 128GB version, and 179 euros for 64GB, at least in Germany on Amazon. But in that time, this phone (for 4/64GB) was 130 euros on Aliexpress with included shipping costs.. So yes, for 130 euros, this phone is not bad, only screen sould be little brighter.

I feel sorry for the Mi A 3 owners. I didn't expect this from Xiaomi.

If Mi A1 was originally shipped with Oreo and not Nougat (because at that time there was no reason to ship the phone running an over a year old Android), it would get Android 10. Shame, because it's a really good phone and capable of running 10.
