Or a OnePlus 7T (or Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro Zoom when it will have Global Version) analog with 1440p display!
Or Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro analog with flat 1440p display and without hole-punch!

What, you can't? Come on, it's so simple! Just change one or two parameters! xD

Or maybe I was right and there is not that much of a choice, or there is no choice at all? WOW, how could it be??? We live in the era of "free market", we have an infinite choice!!

So it literally is a preference as people have a choice. No need to cry because you don't like something. I hate pop up front cams and a fella on here hates punch hole cams. Lucky for us all that all these different variants exist. Yours is only 1 opinion. Doesn't factually make 1 worst than another. Is just your view. Share you view. Don't start trying to tell of us your opinion is correct and the only 1 that matters. Fact. So get over it. You are not right or wrong. But you feel strongly 1 particular way. Good for you. It's only your preference so get over... moreNo, it's not just "my preference" (and not only mine), curved displays are objectively absolutely bad - they have no reasons to exist, they distort image and glare on edges, they are either uncomfortable without case or don't let to use "back" and "previous app" gestures with case, they cost more than the same specs flat displays.
        Any smartphone with curved display is garbage, period.
        Ok, you are deciding between two pair of garbage smartphones, enjoy yourself.

          I'm definitely intrested in full review and I'd like to see comparison between this and Oneplus 8 Pro. I'm actually deciding between Oneplus 8 / 8 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 10 / Mi 10 Pro. Let's see which one has the best VFM for me.

            Finally Mi 10 arrived at Gsmarena review :) I's wandering what's going on, Samsung and Huawei revels their flagships later but already had an review

                    2) No, there is not "a lot" of brands out there. There is Apple, Xiaomi, OnePlus and, potentially, Realme (its new UI looks not bad). Others are [almost] dead/irrelevant (HTC, LG, Motorola/Lenovo, Asus, ZTE, Nokia, Meizu), unreliable (Huawei/Honor, Sony), making weird design choices (Samsung, Google), having bad UI (Oppo, Vivo). But, only iPhone 11 Pro (Max) is the one that matches my simple combination of five parameters (camera is good, display is good, display is flat, chipset is powerful and energy-efficient). Xiaomi's best display is on Black Shark 3 Pro - which has no good camera. OnePlus 7 Pro is good enough - but it has curved display. What is Realme's best smartphone, X50 Pro? Lower ppi, no OIS in cameras, punch-hole selfie cameras - looks not good.
                    Yes, I'd like to buy iPhone 11 Pro Max if I could afford it. But, as you said, having alternatives is good, and they just don't exist.

                    Yeah, some do prefer garbage smartphones that manufacturers push in their faces, leaving them no choice, and I don't like it.

                      Guys, you know if only all the people on earth have money to afford every latest iphones, i think most people would buy iphones. But me, if i can save from buying alternatives, ill buy an alternative.

                        2) Almost nothing to choose from? As i said, there are a lot of brands out there. Its just that you dont like the phone (or brand). So why not have iphone 11 pro max then? Problem solved! No more whining. :)
                        3) If you are a manufacturer or an investor to that company, what would you expect? You got it - income! I will repeat, some do prefer curved screens, even if YOU dont like it.

                        May be i should stop replying to someone who is only thinking of HIMSELF. "I, ME, MY person".

Everybody hates something,your thing is... moreWith case on a smartphone with curved display it would be a trouble to use navigation gestures "back" and "previous app" (and they are good on MIUI); but it's the smallest downside of a curved display (and it has no upsides).

                                  And, it only seems to people that they like curved displays, but in fact - they have been tricked, it's all marketing and not giving other options (except iPhones, which are good smartphones, but really expensive).

                                      Everybody hates something,your thing is curved display..many agree with you many don't..many don't give a s...t... Personally, don't see anything useful about them,but people love it curved...nothing a good silicone case wouldn't cover...especially if it's flagship grade display and I don't doubt it is...

And the purpose of tech journalists, including GSMArena, is to bring all the problems (as well as advantages, of course) to light, and explain why they are problems. So I am looking forward to GSMArena "destroying" as much smartphones with curved displays as possible with their reviews.
