TBH, what the big deal with ads which can be turn off, practically every single apps you install from Play Store have ads as well, and can't be turned off except premium subscription.

AnonD-908380, 13 Apr 2020I'm from Germany and don't have much choice because Samsung... moreI know what Samsung using, but i think that's a case (at least with Samsun flagships), since.. 2010, USA and China (maybe Korea) gets Qualcomm Snapdragon versions, rest of the world Exynos. But, Antutu Benchmark(s), says that 990 Exynos is the fastest one, today in Android world (Qualcomm, 865, Exynoss 990, Kirin 990, Mediatek Dimensity 1000- or something like that..), so who onows, but i thing bigger problem is battery life compared to SD and Exynos versions. Anyeay, back to article, only thing that i like on this, Mi10 Pro phone is how is back glass made, finally no fingerprints and smudgets on back (i guess it's a similar to those back of the iPhone 11 Pro), like you said, MIUI copied iOS, now is time for the back of the phone.. Joke aside, EMUI is the one who (even today) uses source codes of MIUI, because, back in 2010, MIUI was there (on other phones, fustom made), and EMUI (or Emotion back i the time), was resticted like iOS.. So, when you solve ypur problem with MIUI 11, you've see that is not that bad, but everyone have own opinions.

MIUI is too much like iOS, like a prison really :D. Aftersale support is really bad with Xiaomi from what I experienced. I can imagine it's because they have practically no margins on the Redmi phones. Maybe they should charge more and actually help with issues.

I wish they would fix the Note 8 so I can use it again but really no hope anymore :/

Well, MIUI is not that bad, in my opinion, MIUI have more options than EMUI, dark mode is dark (black), no like on ONEUI 2.0-2.1, grey, or in Android (stock) 10 version. I would pay for new phone from Xiaomi, up to 200-300 euros. Just look at Note 9s (Pro for India), it's to big phone, heavy, screen quality is below averge (even worse than Note 5 AI, Note 6 Pro).. 200+g for the phone is not good, than only knows someone who use (or talk) on the phone, 2-3h for working day. Yes it's cheap, have really good soc, but that's not enough. Similar story is with this one Mi10 Pro, 990+ euros, also brick, even punch hole is not in the middle in this one, heavy, screen resolution is not ideal for 2020 flagship. So like i wrote, i will pay for Xiaomi phone, in a shape of Samsung Galaxy S20, and with price of 5% margins (like it was in the past with this brand). I think Xiaomi K30 Pro (don't know name for global version, yet), is similar to this one in a half of price, so, maybe that will be better option, for those who like overeized phones.

I just dislike the fact you still have to specifically disable ads. I'm also not trying to bring all this up again but it just happens because rude replies from certain people lead to it. For example, I replied to someone about MIUI having generally issues with three things and I wouldn't pay for a phone running MIUI.

Btw, your english is not bad at all.

You can turn off recommandations in Security (Cleaner, etc), in Downloads in Music in File Manager. For all that work it takes 30 seconds, and there is no way that any ad (from UI) will pop up, buy hey, if you're in India (are you? It seems you're), and have set region country to India, well, thats another story you sould ask Xiaomi why is so, even in "Setting" there is follow as on fb, insta tw.... I remember your comparision between 2 phones (Note 8, and Galaxy A50?).. That was like month or two ago, and on every Xiaomi article, you write those stuff all over again, it does not work this, that, ads.. So simple question, did you see any ad in ONEUI and in system installed (Samsung) apps? At least, dear friend, if you wanna to continue with same storys all over again, try to change nickname, and next time be more creative. You can always say for this Mi10 Pro, it's to thick, heavy, overpriced (for Xiaomi) etc.. Or something like that. Sorry i just started learning english, but i guess you will get idea. :D

Do you blame every app in playstore or App store which has ads by default? Coz a lot of them do.

You have to disable it when setting up your phone. When turned off, there still is the OPTION to turn them on again, thus it still is present and it doesn't change the fact that there are ads in the OS. Just because you don't see something doesn't make it non-existant. That was my point.

2nd, the security app scans and deletes APKs unless you revoke authorization, which of course is enabled by default. That happened to me.

If you don't see ads, if you turn them off - that's all, their existence doesn't matter anymore. So, "doesn't change the fact" - no, it does.
I turned off most of bloatware on my Redmi 5 Plus (ues, that way with adb) - and now it just flies, really. And "Security" app doesn't bother me; if I don't open it - it does nothing.
