For those who care only the GMS, please note:

1) There is HMS
2) If you can't find your wanted app in HMS, then use the PETAL SEARCH to get it from other app store
3) i can many apps in APKPURE too

So, I may have no access to GMS but I can still access nearly all apps that I care to use. The Bonus, I don't need to have the many bloatware that the GMS installed into my gadgets and can't be uninstalled. I really feel annoyed with all the mandatory apps forced upon by GMS.

So, can a user live without GMS? In my case, of course I can for I had bought my MatePad 10.4 inch.

Adoogle, 11 Apr 2020Incorrect. The US-self-styled sanctions placed on Huawei si... moreIsn't it true that some apps don't work without Google play services and you can't sideload those? In the long term if they don't get on board with Google again, they're dead, at least in EU and USA. No one will buy such expensive phone to sideload apps that they're used to have on Android phone, and even they they don't have any guarantee if they'll work and for how long.

U can get most or the apps u usually uses, with simple use of Huawei phone clone app, it will remove most of ur apps from the old phone to the new phone.

Or else, I think the guys who always says Google, actually can use Google.
Then it's easy to get the rest with a quick Google search... So simple.

Finally a great tablet to replace my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4.
          Thank you Huawei.

BigDisplay, 10 Apr 2020Small problem nowadays, easy to handle. Very true, but most Fandroids are unaware.

AmyHopps10, 10 Apr 2020Due to the Huawei ban, this tablet won't come with Google AppsIncorrect. The US-self-styled sanctions placed on Huawei simply mean Huawei AOSP Android devices are free from the perniciously pervasive data-siphoning GMS (Google Media Services), and the ad-serving Adoogle Chrime.

These sanctions are therefore a blessing in disguise, for all Huawei users are free from the exploitative practices of Adoogle.

Android apps can be downloaded anonymously direct from Google Play Store (if you know how), and most will install on Huawei devices (no need to use Huawei's app store called AppGallery). So the so-called 'app gap' on Huawei devices is a misnomer.

The real problem with Huawei's phones are twofold:
              (1) prices are still out of touch with reality.
              (2) bootloader is locked
