So how good would this tablet be for artists? I heard a lot of people complaining that this tablet won't be able to support heavy gaming, but what about apps like Autodesk Sketchbook or other drawing apps?

Keep your money and waiting to buy ipad pro 2018. ipad pro 2018 price might drop a lot after ipad pro 2020 spread all over. Its price might not as low as Tab s6 lite but isn’t it worth it?

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2020The terrible Exynos SoC aside, for how long are they going ... moreMy theory is that tablet sales are significantly lower than phones and the hardware cost is much higher so to earn some profit margin while not exceeding its price point, they had to impose some restrictions on the specs. The only tablets with 8GB RAM are Matepad Pro and Tab S6 and they are pretty expensive. It's still cheaper than laptops if you want great display and speakers.

AnonD-833125, 15 Apr 2020And you want a 8GB smartphone for 200EUR? Those 3Gb or 4GB ... moreThat was the point, I'm talking obviously about the same price tag. Samsung is manufacturing memory and putting that low amount is just greedy. Android is using quite a lot of memory so 8GB as standard isn't dumb. It's not always about gaming.......

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2020The terrible Exynos SoC aside, for how long are they going ... moreAnd you want a 8GB smartphone for 200EUR? Those 3Gb or 4GB of RAM are for low-end smartphones, that cost 150-200EUR max. I have a 3GB smartphone and it works great. I don't use more than 1 app at a time (no multitasking or anything), I close all apps almost all the time (don't leave any apps open in memory), I don't game on my phone. And I always have 1-1.5 GB of memory available. I am pretty sure there are other people like me too.
If I had to choose from a 4GB phone and a 8GB phone at the same price, yeah I will buy the 8GB. But if I had to pay, 50% or 100% more for the 8GB, I will never buy it.

So that means we can't insert Sim card and make normal calls and sms?

                  Will suport Samsung Dex?

The terrible Exynos SoC aside, for how long are they going to use 4GB of RAM or even 2GB in their lower end tablets? This is just like what Intel did with 4 core CPUs for like a decade. We should already be in a state where 8GB RAM for tablets and phones are the minimum.

They always talk about smartphones and tablets replacing desktops and laptops but don't offer the same minimum of RAM...Samsung Dex is pretty good but with 4GB of RAM it is pretty limited and not upgradable.

I have an iPad. I never use it because iOS is designed for cyclops heads... I cannot believe iOS can only run one app at a time on such a screen size as the iPad has...

Android tablets are above and beyond way better. They have true multi tasking abilities.

Android's OS is far more formidable platform to use than iOS.

                      True multitasking.

Would be nice to see android tablets with higher spec and more cameras. More cutting edge tech. Lppdr5 ram. Ufs 3.1... 865. 90hz/120hz/144hz panels.

90 watt charging at least like the Lenovo Legion...

                      Android is rocking.

Even the Tab S5e uses a Snapdragon 670. If they used an Exynos 9810 like the Note 10 Lite, it's much better and more suitable for tablets.

WORST processor ever in a tablet. I cant belive.

The only manufacturer giving some semblance of a fight to iPads in the tablet space...I am very surprised that other manufacturers can't produce half-a-decent tablet that the market desires.
I mean which Android user would not want a tablet that can talk to an Android smartphone just like an iPad can talk to an iPhone?
