Anyway, AFAIK iPhone's Safari used swipeable cards for tabs, and Springboard (iOS's launcher) supported swiping between homescreens on day 1.

I wanted a WebOS Palm so badly back in the day. They were exclusively on Bell Canada, in the CDMA/1X era. Bell always had(/has) a horrible reputation for customer service, and carriers made switching handsets to another network hellish, so I was never able to. When HP firesold the TouchPad I managed to get one of the last 32GB units; it was a great device. I was sad when it died.

I had the Palm Pixi. It was the Pre but in a true candybar format. Less moving parts, less that can break. Loved that phone.

I moved on. Gestures on iOS 13 are great. Can't believe it's been over 10 years.
