        the things that hinder me from buying this phone are
        1. Not so cheap as in US (may go up to US$560 in local market for 64 GB version)
        2. Suspected intentionally underclock the CPU/SoC (referring to those benchmarks)
        3. The camera unit may be identical to iPhone 8's (not XR or even 11) which is not so impressive.

            JDK, 28 Apr 2020alright then. Do you know who in the world actually cares a... moreAll OS have bugs, that is normal part of the software. Thing is that Apple tried to sell you bugs as "features" and "you are not holding your phone proper".
            Also, Apple was caught red handed throttling down CPUs. Same was with iPhoneX - "Oh look how fast it is, best chipset EVER"... 6months later - "Sorry, we have to throttle your phone down to preserve the battery."
            Btw, new battery test comparisons with iPhone 11 and 1+8 (after Software upgrade which Android phones lack) battery proves you wrong about iPhone 11 battery "superiority".
            Higher display refresh rate (90Hz) beat iPhone 11 by 20-30%. Not to mention other phones also.
            Keep believing in the hype that iPhone is the best. That is what they want from you.

Do you know who in the world actually cares about "app drawer" , "widgets", etc.? Yes, people like you and me do, but we're only 5-10% out of the other 95-90% who don't care about these things.



                      Sure, newer android software might have better features, but by the time apple has 5 years of software updates, the features it has will already be ahead than other android released at the same year with 1, 2, or at most, 3 years of software updates. Basically, with android, if you want the latest features, you gotta spend you're money all over again.

                      And no, it is either CPU or Battery degration. Not both(because SoC doesn't degrade). Either have worse battery life like androids do(because no speed degration) or slightly worse CPU performance(to make up for battery degration).

                      Once again, who says android doesn't have bugs either?

                          Spending half the year fixing bugs after rolling out beta like version of iOS qualifies as terrible software support.

                              Have you seen the battery test on youtube? 3.45hrs SoT, basically you will have to charge it by noon. Okay the bezels, okay (not really) no headphone jack, incredibly poor battery not okay at all.

                                Although i have an iPhone 6 that still runs good it is starting to show its age. Love the size and fits nicely in my pocket and hand. The new SE should be a very good upgrade. Planning to get one this coming summer or early fall after the early sales wind down some.

                                  Bezels are great. Notches are horrible. Bezels give you something to hold onto. You don't notice the bezels when you are looking at the screen while working and concentrating on what you are doing.

Then you upgrade to next model and same happening again.

                                        I do like the price, definitely didn't break the bank for someone like me who never experience the whole iOS ecosystem. But I also see a lot of used iPhone XS or XS Max in pristine fully working condition on online classifieds for the same price or cheaper than the new SE (2020). This doesn't turn out to be as simple as I thought.
