I think I'll wait until christmas, I like sgs 3 but I can't afford it's current price :(
hopefully there will be some cheaper (but worthy) alternatives before that :)

haha just got my S3 on me now from Jacky's in Dubai Mall. there were only 3 units left. i asked samsung rep which is right next shop. they say there were only 125 units came in this morning Jacky's shop had 25 of those. lucky me

where do all of these hundreds of millions of smartphones go ? does everybody buy a 500 euro smartphone to change it every 6 months ? i just can get it ? cause i cant see millions of older generations for sale on ebay or somewhere.

Samsung Galaxy S2 was 2500Dhs and is now 1400Dhs and maybe less in the near future. The thing with the Samsung is that it experience big price dropd, especially if it is a second hand. My advice is wait for 1 or 2 months until the real competetion starts between the giants Sony, Samsung and HTC.

there were 2 shops selling this here in Dubai, axiom and Jacky's. it was the same price with HTX One X at 2499 AED. i was worried that it will take a week after it was officially release in UK, but it was the other way around i guess.

Actually if You compare the price with HTC one X, they have given a fair price for 16GB S3. The 32GB Galaxy S3 Will be around 3000SAR,AED/800USD, so HTC OneX 32GB is Cheaper than Galaxy S3's 32GB.

I've had the opportunity to try S3 for about a week. The battery stamina (even with the very early sw that was in mine) is more than okay. It's not up on the very top with the Note, but it even beats the S2 with extended battery.
The phone as a whole is fantastic. No lag, no... nothing. It's downright awesome.
