AnonD-49964, 23 May 2012Considering the original Desire has more RAM than the Desir... moreEven google themselve dropped the support for HTC Nexus 1, which is similar spec to Desire, so I suggest you don't put any hope on it.

I prefer to wait and prefer to not use unofficial roms to get my updates earlier. I guess I get a buzz from the anticipation of waiting and finally installing the new update.

Android fragmentation is bad, but at least HTC is doing something about it.
I love the new XPERIA phones but I wonder why Sony's still on Gingerbread even for upcoming phones!
Go HTC!

AnonD-49964, 23 May 2012But you have to understand that each manufacturer configure... moreall the phones i have used are not Branded/Unlocked for example i had Galaxy Tab P1000 when they 1st announced that the device will receive the update 2.3 last year I have waited 3 months till they announce that the update is released after that I have waited 4 months connecting my Galaxy Tab to the stupid Kies everyday and still nothing after that I Google it and found out about something call ODEN (uploading Official ROM thru Unofficial Method) since that Kies wont recognize my Tab same suffering experience with Galaxy S i9000 … long story short for me as consumer I don’t have to go thru all this waiting and I don’t care what they have to do to fix it
