And at a time a pandemic is ongoing, causing job losses and deaths?

And if buyer wants 3.5mm jack, OP is totally out.

Although the specs look interesting (assuming the price is competitive) I'd almost consider this a replacement. Almost. LG hasn't posted a single update for my V30S in 7 months. In the 1.5 years I've had it, there's only been one OS update and I don't really expect they'll give us Android 10 at all. In other words; LG is not supporting their phones anything like Samsung, OnePlus, or Apple. LG's "Promise" amounted to squat.

        Another boring teardrop notch.
My hopes are at a minimum now... let's see the price, especially for the dual display version, which is the ONLY spec that can make some difference

There's one thing LG could do to make Velvet amazing. They could redesign the Dual Screen accessory to make both screens closely align with each other, like in the upcoming Surface Duo, or the old ZTE Axon M. Then, the phone could even compete with the foldables like Galaxy Fold, and beat them with price and durability.

And how much for that mid-ranger with a simple ultrawide camera and useless depth sensor? $725 - $800? That also reminds me, Never Settle!!!

LG needs to have Android one setup else it is doomed to fail.

Day by day the velvet becoming an ordinary common boring design of 2020. It was something different while the forst render, now it's front looks like a xiaomi/sammy/vivo type. Nothing difference
