I already have my eyes on their latest high-end flagship. Which, by the way, has no silly notch, no silly cluster of dead pixels in the display, and most importantly : it HAS the 3.5mm jack!!!

this is happening because of Japan's decision to restrict the supply of oled components to South Korea, so they're reasonably trying to get around the problem by buying oled panels from that Chinese company

Also, if you want a phone with display problems and color tint, yeah, go for BOE. Just read the last 6 months of articles about it. It's all there.

get your fact straight... samsung only announced new type of notch for their upcoming phones in nov 2018 conference ... NOT LIMITED TO OLED ... ''infinity'' is their fancy name for bazeless screen at that time ... like how huawei called their screen ''fullview'', or lg called ''fullvision'' display ...
before samsung announced the new infinity in nov 2018, there were other oem that already ship their phone with ''v'' or ''u'' shaped notches ....

I think Samsung is trying to diversify production sources ... for fear that its (Samsung) production lines will stop due to corona virus , which could lead to a delay in upcoming phones.
