I've my fingers crossed... From what I've been reading around, Nokia will always have a 3 or may be 4 OS strategy with Windows OS being one.

My only problem with the N808 and Nokia is it has been very slow to market.
Considering, other marques seem to announce and market either to a set date/time-frame, Nokia seem to announce, trade browse, magazine samples adverts etc.......before the phone is really out in the wild. Even then, once released, they still have many bugs so don't know why the delay. The SGSIII is almost upon us and reliably on the scheduled date. Why can't Nokia do this? And even now, leaks are now appearing that the PureView range will be extended, WHEN!!

DP, 24 May 2012If you read the article from BusinessWeek (rather long one)... moreSeeing as nokia had some of the most loyal customers on the planet, and one of the largest install bases going (worldwide not US), I fail to see how p$%g them off to rise phoenix like from their ashes is a good business model. Sorry, I dont buy it.

I will buy nothing but Android from this day forward. I will not ever consider another device unless it is running Android. Even if the device has specs that are unrivaled, if it isn't running Android, I'm going to not even look at it and I will even bash it so others can see the Green light like I just have. Choice is bad. Competition is bad. Every phone must run Android, even Apple phones. There must be no other OS that can be made in the mobile world. Android IS the Mobile World and there shall be only one OS.

lucz, 24 May 2012why is it that nokia didnt want to try produce an android r... moreI'll take a stab here. the (most probable) reason (for me) why nokia doesnt make android phones is because they want to separate themselves from the other companies who make android phones. another reason could be because of the hardware they have. I dont know the exact ( sorry for that) but my lucky guess is nokia doesnt like android too much.

So when i'm outta my home, i'm enjoying with my friends. We do things like... you know, hang out, party, go out to a nice location, etc etc... So i don't get the time to sit somewhere in the corner, depressed, surfing the internet to kill time. And when i'm done with the fun time with my friends, i come back home, turn on the laptop and do some surfing and so on. It's not like i hate android. I'm a big fan of android. But you know, sometimes things are best, as they are.
And one more thing... It's not the hardware that counts but the smoothness of the softwares.

Nokia could release the pureview right now and in as many countries as possible, but they would rather toss their money away and hold it all back to try and quickly stuff it into a WP7 phone. Crazy. Ive never seen a company who simply refused to make money.
