In fact Samsungs Swedish web page for Galaxy S Advance ( http://www.samsung.com/se/consumer/mobil/mobil/smartphones/GT-I9070HKANEE) used to say that it was "Android 4.0 Capable" but that bullet point has now been removed.

Suberb design: It looks almost the same as every other Galaxy phone out there.

AnonD-2889, 25 May 2012ICS really needs a good CPU and battery to get the best out... moreYou are absolutely right. If Vanilla OSs became the standard a lot of compatibility issues could be avoided. Unlike HTCs beloved Sense -which I don't like a lot- most of OEM customized UIs get hard criticism. And leaving aesthetics aside, it will make your phone underperform for sure. The only good thing is overall added functionality when you don't know how to/ don't have time to/ don't want to/ cannot look up and try custom ROMs on your device. Oh Vanilla Android, will we ever be able to see you running on a major OEM handset? (Maybe when the 18th version of Android comes out it will be named Android Vanilla just to make this happen, lol).

Anyway, good to see Scamsung update at least some of their phones, even though they shouldn't have any excuse not to update Ace 2 to ICS (specs wise).

What about galaxy mini 2? It has 800mhz arm7 proc with 512mb ram.

AnonD-25677, 25 May 2012I was wondering, if HTC Desire C with 600mhz cpu can run IC... moreUnfortunately, you should also consider the ammount of RAM. The Desire C nearly doubles the Galaxy Y, with 512 Mb vs 290 Mb.
