Only the (global) Note 9 Pro is reasonable priced. The Note 9S with worse specs shouldn't be have the same price as the 9 Pro, but should be at least 20 euro cheaper. The Note 8 Pro, is still sold for the same official price as the 9S/Pro-series. Of course you can get the 8 Pro for way less (grey import), but without official 2 years warranty in Europe.

Nothing, it's a joke, Xiaomi have good phones, esp. in midrange category (at least those with Super Amoled screens). MIUI 12 looks like iOS in 2021, so, nothing wrong with ttat, that you adopt iOS look, with Xiaomi phone, even begore Apple did :D

Ok, but, now, this one, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro (with same 4/64GB, same SoC, similar design, just back camera looks little bit better), with, 64MP back camera (Note 9s 48mp), with support to 30W charging (Note 9s, 18W, but in the box there is a 22.5w fast charger).. Price? Same, 249 euros, so it's a simple, Note 9 Pro (Note 9 Pro Max for India) is better in camera and charging, for same price.. But, alo i must say, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 (the one with G85 inside), 180 euros? No thanks..

The funny part is, that in Europe the (new) Global version of the Note 9 Pro will cost the SAME as the Note 9S and the Note 8 Pro. Is this an out of season april fools joke?
Even the Note 8T & Note 9 will be in the same price category.
It has nothing to do with poor or not. People just don't want to get cheated with the prices...

this naming scheme actually makes sense compared to the redmi note 9 pro and note 9 pro max one. Because the non-global redmi note 9 pro was actually a downgrade compared to the redmi note 8 pro.
