I worry for some of those commenting here. Who cares who did what first? How many Sharp TVs get sold? Less than most other brands, certainly in my country. And this nonsense about trends, as if the subsequent adopters cannot set the trend. Trends can be set by manufacturers that introduce a previously used idea or design. During my younger years, Joe Blogs were the "trendy" jeans, briefly. In 1990 they set the trend. They were not the first jeans. They were all but identical to many brands that had gone before. Apple can use a feature or design after another company, and still be the one setting the trend. Apple are big enough to start a trend. I'm hoping they start a trend for smaller devices... Guess what, we had smaller devices before!

This will be apple year for sure android se will kill midrange market. 12 lineup will kill every android bricks that hit 1000 euro including ultra brick s20 ultra 1500 euro with gimmicky numbers and throttling machine chipset.

And about Huawei, yes there was first camara in that shape, but on differente (middle) place of the phone..
Anyway, Huawei, Honor, now looks like those Nokia/Microsoft Lumias, back in the day, good or above averge cameras, but no apps and games (at least if you compare with Play Store), so, Huawei, no thanks. If i want a Chinese OEM, i will chose Xiaomi, or Realme, or.. Motorola, but, thats a just my opinion.

One thing we know now for sure, notch will be there (again), it seems little smaller than those nipple notches on actual iPhones, but its there. Maybe will be better option for them, to put pop up front camera, and add underscreen finger print sensor. How hard is for Apple to do that? Now they can copy, Xiaomi (Mi10T/Pro for pop up, and underscreen fps), because this iPhone 12 will have OLED, so, there is no reason to have sensor (and ols faceID)..
And we also see, by interest in iPhone SE 2020, Apple and non Apple users, still, like fingerprint sensors, underscreen sensor or no, but its a still even in 2020 good thing.

Apple followed that design and soon after all other brands followed from Apple. Apple was never an innovative company, but a trendsetter of improving technology from other brands.

$650 for iPhone 12 5G is a great deal in my opinion. Not the absolute best bang-for-your-buck, but pretty good. I'm also glad that iPhones are keeping their same price as before, while androids just keep on increasing their prices.

I never had any iPhone (because of iOS, no 3.5 jack, some limitation and unreasonably expensive accessories) but I must admit that Apple feels market much better than Android manufacturers. Whiles Android phones go crazy expensive and huge in size, Apple starts to make compact and more affordable phones. So looks like small 5.4 inch iPhone 12 will become my first iPhone....

I do like small/compact smartphones, anything taller than 160mm and 74 mm+ are too big. Once again, i was just referring about design, which all of us can say that is way outdated. If they launch the Apple 12 design like the previous 3 years phone it is a shame.

With 50W charging, wireless char... morejust as fast? Only A13 is as fast as snapdragon 865. And if you are going off antutu, don't, because it is rubbish. A14 should be far superior to 865 and even 865+(of course, 875 will match it.)
If realme is good at updating, iPhone is even better. At most, realme has 3 years of software updates, while apple has 5.
Realme x50 pro also has worse refresh rate: 90hz vs. 120hz(unless you are talking about iPhone 11 series)
Photo quality is "relative"? No, iPhone is far superior. It actually has good image processing compared to realme, which is nothing special. Read the verge reviews about camera: the reviewer said that the iPhone 11 pro is the "best camera ON A SMARTPHONE!!!!". And, iPhone 11 scores second! And video quality isn't even a competition.
Only objective advantage of realme is fast charging, but iPhone counteracts that with better battery.

Realme speakers are excellent. Read reviews.
865 is just as fast as A14 and even that, is not noticeable because you won't take advantage of it in its lifetime.
Realme is good at updating
And again, check its prices.

But, that't a just my opinion :D
Oh, one more OEM have unique design of back camera (maybe is not pretty, bit is differente), and thats a Motorola (powered by Lenovo lol).
