The phone will launch in Taiwan on May 20. European prices were also revealed, but not the shipping date.

    Not all Xperia had G Lens, Xperia 1 has but 5 does not.

      Not bad but nothing impressive, you can get same quality in many other mid range devices that are even cheaper sometimes, I like the night mode photos though. And yes you can find the sd665 in devices as cheap as 160$, but as I said before, this is a device that targets a different market than the usual mid rangers.

        Only bad point I see is towards the top of the wide angle shot outside you can clearly see bad purple fringing at top of the building

          It's too soon to judge, but I noticed one important thing from the main camera samples: corner sharpness.
          Finally the Xperias are free from that atrocious "G Lens", courtesy from the trustworthy Zeiss.

              At least the main is better compared to 10ii.
              With the same sensor of Xa2, it would do 10x better.

                Honestly the images are a big step up, but needs to be stacked against Pixel 4a and iPhone SE.

                  Night mode is not done by stacking.
                  So, no blur will be seen.

                    I was looking at the photo samples and then last picture..... *heart attack*

                      Great , i am impressed by night mode shots only if they lowered the price or used better chipset it would have been fantastic device

                        Wow the cameras turned out a lot better on this phone than I expected them to. Pixel 4a may get some competition after all.

                            I got to be honest, the photo quality is not as bad as I thought. Sure that the ultrawide and 2x telephoto pics doesn't look great when pixel peep, but what to expect for a mid-range phone in general anyway. At least there's a real versatility here.

                            Oh btw, all the photos here in this article are indeed shot by the Xperia 10 ii. Download it and check the EXIF data, you will find "Sony XQ-AU52" in the Properties.

                              Price is pretty decent. The model numbering is weird though.
