Intel are bey... moreI may not be knowledgeable about semiconductor fabrication but please stop with this "better numbers equal better performance" bullsh*t. Just because Energizer has a 10,000mAh battery smartphone doesn't mean 4000mAh is garbage, it's because of idiots like you that urge companies to race to get the smallest chip/biggest battery/fastest processor/bestest whatever by shaming technology that isn't even outdated by a decade. People like you want the very best and very latest 0.1nm SD9995, 1TB memory, 100,000mAh battery, 500mp 100x zoom camera, 2mm thick smartphone, then you get all surprised and butthurt when the prices are 5 -10x higher than your "centuries outdated, literally unusable LOL" tech.

hisilicon doesn't possess the required technology for 7nm, while samsung, tsmc and a few had begun manufacturing in 2018. Now the latter are racing for 5nm finfet. The top 10 was backed by huawei's internal supply, but they'll not catch up the big players in the near future, at least they won't be in top 5 for the next 5-10 years.

Intel are beyond useless. Still milking the 14+++nm, with 10nm no where in sight.

Wish they sell it to other company.

LilPhone, 07 May 2020Samsung's Exynos will be on the bottom of the list. HahaActually this is about full output in transistors count and Samsung is still probably on the first place (mostly thanks to DRAM/NAND production), eventually second after Intel. Nevertheless its huge for HiSilicone.
