How nice Xiaomi is killing off its own brand. Now we see that the whole policy was set up to eventually raise the prices, which is a big miscalculation. Especially in these circumstances.
And since the only strategy the chinese vendors have is to buy loyalty, this is gonna backfire immensely.
But we have to thank them for bringing the market down, so the big players have come to senses.
In the long run i see them all declining.

So it will either come only as Poco F2 Pro, or Xiaomi give it another name (maybe Mi 11T Pro, who knows). For all the name confusion it's 100% Xiaomi's fault. It's getting out of hand. They have no naming scheme at all. I will definitely not buy a Xiaomi this year, after their price gauging. There are brands with better warranty and service at the price range they want to sell them here.

And i'm not sure if those are even designed here, as it seems that their operation is more as marketing and sales, while the real ones designing them are employees from China. From Foxconn at the begining but lately seems that they are even outsourcing that to cheaper manufacturers. Low quality ones as their latest phones show clearly. With the most generic chinese design and also dated and old hardware.

At that price tag, it's going to be out of my budget. Maybe it will be lower once it hits my country? (I'm in SEA btw). But again, this is the Pocophone F2 PRO. Hopefully Xiaomi will release a non-PRO phone, a 4th phone (aka Vanilla F2) which will be the (proper) successor for for the F1, along with the price. I agree with all of the nonsense naming crap. They should have named the F1 title to the Poco X2, which was released as Redmi K30. The F2 PRO naming on the rebranded Redmi K30 Pro would have made more sense. I'm disappointed that Pocophone wasn't able to continue the flagship killer price. Since that is the case, I'll stick with buying an F1

Because Samsung is exactly like a Western one, the USA control Samsung as if it was their own, there is also Sony, LG, Google, Nokia.

There is one American Brand, Apple. That is it. There are zero competent European smartphone-makers. Yes, zero, a big in-your-face Zero.

In the world of Android smartphones, there is Samsung, and there are Chinese phone-makers. There is no guarantee Samsung will stay competitive, as a phone-maker, in the years to come. But Samsung will stay as a component supplier, just like Sony has been a component supplier for years.

About Xiaomi's naming policy: I don't know about you guys, but I don't really care what a phone's title is, or if they follow a certain progression. The important thing is performance, price, design and price-performance ratio. Of course, there are other important things (frequency of security updates, warranty, etc.), but the name is the least important one. Might as well call a phone the Rape Z Pro Doodoo Edition. If it's a great phone for a very competitive price, I'd buy it.

Typical Chinese market penetration strategy is to start selling good/correct products at considerably lower price than the competition, and once they get stable enough into the market, simply get their price up to the norm, they did it with the Steel industry, and they'll do it with the Smartphone industry too, that's exactly what happened with the OnePlus 8.

Smartphone Flagship killers are sadly a temporary thing, you would need a brand totally dedicated to that which they literally make that their commercial strategy but also their brand policy and slogan, which I would love to see happening...

Imagine how damn successful would be a brand that make just good (no need to be above the average) smartphone company that have for slogan to literally make really affordable devices and to really listen to their community.
Not as a thing they claim, but as an official statement and slogan of the brand, peoples would go crazy to buy them and will support them as long as they don't change their policy or don't do stupid things !
