No Fan Boy...!, 08 May 2020Where i live...i can't even see more than 10 stars...let al... moreWhen people living far away from the city's light pollution say they can see our Milky Way galaxy on a clear night on a new moon, with their naked eyes, they are referring to being able to see our Milky Way galaxy's galactic core/galactic center which looks like a cloud - nebula of stars.

You can search photos of it in google photos. Again it's darker to the naked eye than what the photos show. You won't see much of it in cities due to light pollution unless there is total city blackout, and the sky is clear (not cloudy), on a new moon.

          probably a 4x or 5x lens, not like the p40 pro plus. now that is really super zoom.

                      And i don't think it's milky way...because earth is inside milky way...i think they must be trying to say Nebula (giant cluster of stars)...!

Doesn't that every picture we... moreWell yes, but here it is question to see the Galaxy itself, first, you must realize that our night sky have a really limited range, you don't see any galaxy with your naked eye, you only see stars quite close actually relative to the size of the Milky Way, here is a Quora post with great answers about this :

                        We don't know the exact shape or size of the Milky Way, because we can't see it from outside, but there is something we can see, its center, well, not directly, but we can still have a glimpse at it because of all the light it emit.
                        Basically this is what we can see with no parasite light and a camera with a long enough exposure time :

                        What if I told you that our big neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy appear bigger than the full moon in the sky ?
                        You'll probably say that you don't recall anything of that sort, and it is simply because, even if it is relatively big enough, there isn't enough light to allow our eyes to see it, even if it count billions of stars...

                        So what they talk about here is probably a mode to have a long exposure to make star and the center bulb of our galaxy more visible.

                              And that SuperZoom how much optical zoom have? Because that is what matter... to reach XX zoom with enough image quality... Too much publicity about the 60x zoom but zero about the optical zoom!!!

                                Pretty sure people are going to complain about the lack of a SD 865, which doesn't make sense. The 855+ is still plenty powerful and probably brings the cost down at the same time.
