Please stop complaining about the 60hz because at the end of the day no humans can see the difference between 60 and even 120. High refresh rate is the worst gimmick ever of the history of smartphones.

JDK, 12 May 2020I tried to use iPad pro 120hz display at a store, and I per... moreInteresting you say that. As apples 120hz tech is not that good either. And there 30fps style iOS animations are the worst I have ever experienced on a phone. Ever. I mean the good thing about Android is that even the most budget devices OS is smoother and better than iOS. Maybe one of the reasons why iOS constantly needs updating for five years because they just cannot get it right the first time. Always many bugs. And complaints. Sorry. Not impressed with iOS at all. And besides. There is no security with iOS. In Israel. There is no security with iOS.

Gotta say, it packs a punch for its price, i would pay 50 euro more for a 90 Hz display but all in all it's a beast spec wise for the price, camera probably won't be flagship level like the display but again, the price to spec ratio is extremely good

Nice price but 60 Hz screen? Nope, no thanks. High refresh screen is important, essential even to make everything feel smooth. Once you have +90 Hz, any regular 60 Hz screen will feels slow and laggy.
Waiting for the next phone I guess.

60HZ display, NO OIS, NO Zoom telephoto, NO microSD... 499 EUROS REBRANDED K30 Pro. 599 euros the 8/256GB
So yes, no flagship killer, or original design. Is a rebranded product with a overprice added as is more expensive than the original Redmi K30 Pro. Is no more what Poco F1 was that people liked.

So no OIS and no proper telephoto camera. That is sad. It's basically a K30Pro with a more gentle ~100$ price increase (compared to the 35% for MI10 series) for the global market.
It's a fair price for a SD865 phone but no OIS, 90Hz, wireless charging, SD slot, IP rating, stereo speakers, flagship level cameras. But hey, is almost half the price of Mi10Pro and OP8Pro for 256GB. Will have to think about this one. I hope it al least has LTE band 20 being a global version.

Aside from probably harder to do handheld shot, i gladly take 50mm macro than 13mm macro. At the same magnification, 50mm still give you reasonable distance to allow lighing up the subject. Having ultrawide for macro shot means the subject is probably 1-2cm away from the camera lens, blocking out pretty much most of the light.

Does the non-zoom edition of the K30 Pro have OIS?
That alone will decide if this is indeed a flagship killer.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 12 May 2020However... It would be something else if it had 90hz at lea... moreI tried to use iPad pro 120hz display at a store, and I personally could not see a single difference.
It could have been stuck to 60hz on that iPad pro to conserve battery, but why not show off the smothness of a display?
Of course, you might think differently.

Instead of macro and useless depth camera, they should put OIS on main camera. It's not flagship killer, it's super fast midranger.

However... It would be something else if it had 90hz at least... I personally cannot go back to 60hz. No way. Sorry... Because once you have a 90hz panel. You can't go back. You know what I mean.
And with my 240hz sampling. And PUBG hex editored to bring me 90FPS...yes that is correct the global version uncapped to bring 90 FPS for my 90hz screen with 240 hz touch as well as those air triggers... Couldn't ask for more...
But if I had to get an affordable handset on a budget if I needed. I would go for the K30

IpsDisplay, 12 May 2020Well the Poco brand is destroyed The motto was more abou... moreYour name explains your comment towards display also there's no macro camera here, it's handled by telephoto lens. The price is quite competitive too, not as aggressive as F1 but still quite competitive.

Well the Poco brand is destroyed
The motto was more about what you NEED and and nothing you don't
All they had to do is keep the LCD screen (popularity of F1 proves that people care more about the price more than anything else)
They good get a high refresh rate too and cheap if it was LCD
Keep the plastic body(cheaper and more durable)
Listen to this... If you want a good macro camera just add autofocus to the wide angle lens....
What does Xiaomi do?? Add autofocus to the macro... For the love of God thats an extra camera for no reason to hike the price...
The Vivo iqoo neo 3 is the real flagship killer now
And the Vivo Z1 even worse
RIP POCO
