I did not see the microsd card slot in the specs, but now that I have seen it in the specs acro S looks really good and is the first Xperia phone I could consider buying, because any/every Android can use 64 Gb microsd card when formatted to FAT32
The design is better now with the camera lens not so close to the edge!

Harry, 30 May 2012As much as I do like Sony phones, it really is hard to dist... moreIn response to your comment, I think you are wrong in your option. I think they fact that they have a UI replicated across all xperia devices, regardless of screen size serves two purposes.
1. It creates an iconic identity - renove the hardware and you will still see its an Xperia device.
2. That UI in my opion, may not be the most feature rich, but its the most simple of any android base. Meaning if I buy an Xperia S, and my mother buys this Go, then i can tell her exaclty how to use it before even getting it out the box.

Is the screen "Gorilla glass" or is it the same "scratch-resistant" screen as on older Xperia phones that are not really scratch-resistant at all, and Sony even brings an extra "screen-protector" in every phone-package because Sony knows their screen is not really scratch-resistant, because if it were then they would not need to bring any extra screen-protectors in the package with every new Xperia-phone?!
Only 11 Gb and only 4, four!, Gb available to the user, do Sony not want users to install any apps or games from Google Play or have any music or videos on their phones?

This just won't cut it. Snapdragon with Adreno 220?
I want Krait with 225.. or preferably 320.
The design is also boring.
Common Sony, stop wasting time and resources and release the GX worldwide already! Or preferably a phone with an Adreno 320 GPU.

Hopefully Sony price it right...at 300- 400euro range for both. Dual core and small screen just fit that category since the waterproof thingy is not something very costly to make anyway.

However, in reply to your comment the fact actually is we can't bash SE for copying because SE and Nokia here, have adopted two very different ways.
SE is simply using the water proof material which makes it watertight and protects the body from being harmed by water.
Whereas, Nokia has gone for nano technology which is actually a very unorthodox and advanced way of achieving the purpose. Nanotechnology can be leveraged to create self-cleaning surfaces on mobile devices, ultimately reducing corrosion, wear and improving longevity. Nanostructured surfaces, such as “Nanoflowers” naturally repel water, dirt, and even fingerprints utilizing effects also seen in natural systems.
Nokia will make a complete and the first "real waterproof" phone by not only covering the outer but also the inner parts of the phone. So even if the water, somehow, gets inside the device will remain unharmed.
It is a totally different and advanced approach towards enhancing the user experience so the point of bashing SE does not exist. It's a different league mate.

I love the xperia range, way back from the old x1 itself (even though it wasn't android). When the x10 released, it was amazing. The 2011 phone up..amazing in their own right. The NXT series, beautiful. Now these non- NXT phones are even better!! The xperia sola is brilliant.
The xperia go has caught my eye. Its awesome. The successor of the active. But my only qualm is that the screen coulda been smaller, it would have made more sense.
Still, its made me regret buying my xperia active. My active looks like trailer trash next to the Go. :/

As much as I do like Sony phones, it really is hard to distinguish which is which, they all look practically identical at the front with the same interface. C'mon Sony!

The problem I have here...
Is that whilst I don't necessarily want to go for a GS3...
Sony is pretty much leaving myself and anyone who wants a real future-proof flagship phone any choice...
I've been waiting for Hayabusa / Mint...
But I suspect these will both be dual core too...
Whether you think they are necessary or not - they're here to stay...
And creating phones that don't even come with ICS out of the box and the hassle of updating, the bugs that follow, the performance issues that follow...
It's not good...
I prefer Sony's overlay and Facebook integration, and many tweaks they make (despite huge amounts of bloatware) - but for people who will get 18/24 month contracts they want to know that they'll still be good next year and the year after...
The current Xperia range just isn't cutting it...

The Arco S has been in Japan for over a month. So Sony technically haven't added the phone into their portfolio; they're merely spreading their Japanese-only-market models overseas.
The Xperia Go; is that the supposed successor to the Xperia Active? No concrete model numbers have been given.

why again old snapdragon S3 chipset!!!! so disappointed, i wished it was a dual core S4 chipset. damn still need to wait for sony to prepare a device with S4 chipset :(
