I suggest you start researching on what "kernel sources" are and why they matter. Because right now you're confusing multiple and completely independent concepts about software and hardware.

IpsDisplay, 18 May 2020Good good Now where is that person thats gonna talk abou... moreWell Huawei, and Nokia have locked bootloader since forever, so why would anyone at least Google it custim ROM for those brands? Haha.
Ported Google camera, was only for Qualcomm based phones (and not all phones), until 2019.. And since 2015 or so..
Last but not least, it seems, now MediaTek is better than it was in the last couple of years, so that's a good thing, for us, more choices, and not wirh outdated nm process chips..

.. oh one more thing.. How many Android flagship phones you know from 2013 until now (7 years) with MediaTek SoC? Non? That't true. So, maybe is time for a changes, but those a facts.

        Good good

Now where is that person thats gonna talk about custom ROMs because they hear the word mediatek...

When so many Snapdragon phones get released with the OEM not releasing codes and therefore no ROMs.. and it's funny I don't hear anyone complaining on those articles

Personally I prefer Gary Explains. And his understanding and cross comparisons of SoC's. He revealed very cleverly certain flaws with Anand tech. And other reviewers. He wrote speed test GX and is cross platform comparable. It shows how much quicker the CPU of the 865 is compared to the A13.

Geek bench is also flawed in the benchmarking. Gary Explained this too. The benchmarking tool to use is what Gary Sims wrote.
