OnePlus 8 Pro color filter sensor will be disabled in upcoming software update

Really, OnePlus? No need for you to disable such feature. You're going to handicap that filter camera. Making it that much more worthless. Not like you can truly see anyone naked with it.

Calm calm... They will sell it as an extra feature soon. 380 euros per "special filter". Also offer a special "Filter edition" of the OP 8T Pro or 9 Pro for 1480 euros. Never Settle!!!! In Prices...

Basically all cameras can ''see through clothes'', you just need to remove the IR stopping filter what many photographs do to use for IR and UV shooting.
Cameras can see UV which is like 10% + visible 40% + IR(thermal like) 50%, which is about how much light is distributed in atmosphere.
Most simple solution would be removable filters like ND in nokia 808. Its fun and useful too, even if its usage highly depends on user, the same as regular camera, it should be not reason to be afraid of it.
Looking forward to brand that will bring such tech it to its main cameras.

That camera can only see through 2 or 3 types of surfaces and everyone is acting like it can see through everything even though Samsung and Huawei 50x xooming is definitely worse for being a creep

Another manager: Yeah, and what if we advertised our 8 pro as a "quad camera" by slapping a color filter sensor on it! And we will remove the only feature it was useful with!
Another manager: And to milk even more money, how about we slap a useless 2mp macro camera on the oneplus 8 non-pro, aka downgrading it from the oneplus 7T!

Also, the Note9 lacks a IR blaster when the Note4 has it and even the competitors' devices have it so how on earth are products only becoming better as their prices rise when that is completely false?

Sorry to burst your bubble but I cannot agree to that and quite the opposite keeps happening from my experience. Why's that? My old Note4 finds more wireless networks than my last gen Note9 for example...
