It should be using the imx689 with 768G.
Don't expect a cheap phone though.
If X50 Pro uses the GN1 it should also come with an Exynos chip and they've already got X30 line using tbe 980 (typing from the X30).

Samsung's new sensors seem very promising. Hopefully Samsung improves the cameras on their Note Series (the ones on the S20 Series are mostly short on autofocus). Samsung can easily lead the market on Smartphone Cameras, but it appears they are more focussed on growing their Imaging Sensor business. The S20 Ultra may have slightly less than perfect implementation, it still has some great technologies and impressive design.

The X30 Pro is still yet to see international release outside China, and now they are already starting the development for the X50 Pro. Nevertheless, I do hope that the X50 Pro would have a no-nonsense camera setup like the X30 Pro.

Companies are almost always in constant communication with each other to develop new products and then time marketing and PR so that they synchronize announcements. It's pretty standard business strategy.

Not correct. Vivo x50 series will not use Samsung's GN1 sensor. The main camera will be a Sony sensor similar to IMX 689.

Vivo is launching some great products at affordable prices lately.

That always seems to happen. Some company reveals a processor or camera lens or display; then, all of a sudden, boom, an upcoming phone in the sea of new phones they already released gets it.

                      It's kind of silly honestly...

So for cheaper phones of vivo Samsung sensors and premium phones of oppo sony sensors. Well played bbk. Because vivo Person doesnot choose camera or look, they look for economical value but oppo person looks for aesthetic and camera.

Wow... Vivo showing that it too can possibly be a flagship cameraphone killer too?
