another ''courage'' move by apple..
their fan blindly praised apple... but what make me worry is the fact that other oem might follow apple pattern .. i dont mind paying redmi price and did not get an earphones but if i pay $700 or more... i expect to get a full package from the company.

Anonymous, 20 May 2020Good. And they should not include a charger either. It is j... moreChargers aren't immortal, nor are the charging cables and definitely nor are the headsets. Just because you got them with your current phone , doesn't mean they will be alive , when you get your next one.
And what if someone is first time smartphone buyer or first time iPhone buyer, or 6S or older iPhone user. Their chargers, charging cables and headsets , even if they were alive, wouldn't be compatible at all with what Apple produces right now. Get it ?!
Bundling accessoires with device (especially with premium price) had been good practice for a long time. It improves user experience, as We don't have rush in market when we need them , or write down in notes that we should buy these along . It's good to be covered , especially when you have to pay a hefty price for something.
As for e-waste, Apple could have reduced that, by making iPhones with USB type-c ports, or if they insist so much on lighting port superiority, making later a public standard (USB is public standard).
P.S Also I don't get why people get so much confident that they know what's best for everyone. You should be running for an office.

Good. And they should not include a charger either. It is just a waste to get a new charger with each phone and every other device out there.
We need to cut down our electronic waste. Kudos to Apple for doing this!
When I buy a device, I want that device and no extras. If I need anything else, I will buy separately. Also, this is a good way to keep prices a bit lower, but the main benefit is reducing e-waste which is a huge problem nowadays.

The only thing that really bugs me about this is that in a couple of years, other manufacturers will adopt this strategy. Apple has been a trend setter in that regard, see the removal of the headphone jack for example.
