Why must 2GB of RAM some people ask, why must the camera be 12MP rather than 8? well, there's going to be more and more advanced HD 3D games in the near future (especially since Playstation Suite has become Playstation Mobile to go to other phones) and they are going to consume A LOT of space of RAM while running, and since the Note has the perfect mobile gaming screen size (PSP like),off course it will need all the RAM space it can get. Even more if you're a big fan of massive multitasking to maximize your productivity. And as for the camera, 12MP is becoming the new standard for flagships. Who would want their new 800-900$ Note gets beaten by an old N8 of a 550$ Experia S, NOT ME!!!

Cool specs , but please Samsung keep the same size, I think phones are getting too big.

A new note! I'll buy one FOR SURE. I love my note. Just keep the size the same, any bigger and Samsung will have missed the window.

Dont knw y most of the people r mocking up that y diz does not hv quad core, 2gig ram, more than 8mp camera??? Wake up guys its not the same note anymore... 1.5 gig f ram z more than enuf... The phonr cant even use 1gig f ram properly unless u ve too many apps running on background n also it has a strong gpu to handle high definition games fir game lovers... Quad core arm A9 is inferior to dual core arm A15 since it will use exynos 5250 chipset way superior to exynos 4214 chip thus exynos duo 5 is stronger on benchmarks compared to exynos quad 4... Finally 8mp cam on note was better than S2 likewise S3's 8mpx cam z much better than same mpx cam of S2 n note thus the cam of note 2 will be even better than all above phones... The mpx on cam does not hav much to do for clarity of pics that u take thru ur phones but it depends on camera sensor n resolution of screen n noye 2 hav superior resolution than note, s3 n s2 thus it will definitely be better... Hope u wud understand y we do not need much higher specs on phone coz high specs will increase the price only of that phone but by using upgraded specs of same line will be much affordable for everyone....

This is amazing news just as long as the note keeps the same dimensions as the current note. Also, Samsung please round the memory off to 2GB. Other then that you have all the makings of a major hit.

wow! note II. If it's true, than i'll wait for it.
i hope it will come with a sleeker design, more premium build, a different color maybe (silvery brushed metal, or mahogany color), and more power on the battery

4. The A15 dual core is a lot faster then the A9 quad cores (check the benchmarks)
6 You can get 64gb SDXC cards for $70 so this is not a major issue.

5.5 IS PERFECT! if phone size stays the same. There is a bit of free space around notes bazels to increese sceen size.
8pxl camera is joke! Had nokia n8 yrs ago and it was THE BEST CAMERA I EVER SEEN.
Quad core and 2gb ram. MINIMUM
And last, most important thing. Please don't make it look like bigger s3. Rounded shape looks terrible! S2 and ORIGINAL note they have perfect "square" shape.

1. 5' for size & 1280x720
2. Better quality for video, if u can run 1080 this should be awesome. (Lg already run 1080)
3. 8mp just nice only
4. Quad core!!!
5. Dont built-in battery & please improve battery energy.

Ever since ICS came out for the Note, the phone has absolutely no competition whatsoever. If I had to choose all over again, I'd still go for the Note instead of the new Galaxy SIII.

I Love my Samsung Galaxy Note Running ics CM9 glad I didn't pull the trigger on the SIII thus looks to be the perfect upgrade at the perfect time for me.....CANT WAIT!!! JUST TAKE MY MONEY!!! ^__^

the screen is increased because of edge to edge tech everyone will be using soon - including S3 IP5 etc
if you look at the old note it resembles the bulky IP3 days with that silly chrome edge - cant stand that chrome btw
so any trimming in design i think is alwaYS an improvement
as for S3 owners getting slapped - i think so , completely different ergonomic uses
i have used both S2 and note and just find that above 4.5" screens is just too much for my mobile lifestyle
to be mobile dudes

SAMSUNG SHOULD come up with 12 megapixel as S3 already has 8megapixel cam.....every1 will go with S3 as it has all the features and it would much more cheaper thn new GALAXY note 2 and and changing chip set and software's wont make much difference.....prateek.patel0011@gmail.com
