Guys its note, not a joke like dell streak or acer tab.. I own a galaxy note n my friend has a dell streak 5" n wen i compare size wise dell streak looks much heavy, big n non handy on the other hand note feels good on hands, lightweight, comfortable n much handy though screen size of note z more... I can use note wid single hand n same z not wid dell streak, it takes ma both hands to use it... Samsung knws how to keep all under the chassis that is comfortable on every hand n thus note 2 will also b easy to carry since size of r almost equal nly a .2" screen size difference but it wud b having thin bezel...

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2012Not to forget a quad core processor.I'd take the Exynos 5250 over any already released quad core any day of the week. Spec wise, this exactly the phone I've been waiting for. They should keep the form factor close to the original Note. That mock up is sad. But anyway, I'm eagerly expecting that phone, I just hope they release it before the end of this year.

Samsung should just keep the current design of the Note and use the quad core processor from the S3 and put in 2GB RAM.The 5.3" screen is enough.Doesn't need to upsize the screen to 5.5".

And if they all turn out to be true, then LG is gonna swallow both this N2 and the SIII market whole with their 5" full hd, 2GB RAM, 12MP camera, with better GPU plus super IPS+ lcd RGBW soon to be announced phoneblet and claim the throne of King of smartphone!!!!

That's 360 ppi with probably a samoled only pentile display.. But at 5.5? Why does samsung think increasing the display size should come with an increment of a model. 5.3 is enough.

TheNeighbor, 04 Jun 2012Samsung uses Sony made cameras like in the S III.Nope. GS3 uses S5C73M3 BSI imaging sensor, which is manufactured by Samsung. One X uses old GS2 imaging sensor(S5K3H2YX) while SE uses Exmor.

If these specs are to be taken as the truth, I just hope that the decision to use the dual core processor will improve battery life. A full HD screen would be ideal, bigger battery, NFC would make it ideal. (Galaxy Note since November)

Yea. Why not go all the way with 2 gigs of RAM? and A Quad Exynos. With 28nm process these days and a larger batt this might just have the same endurace as the original note. A device this expensive shouldn't be holding anything back. O yea, why not 1920x1080 to match it up with LG. Hahaha

AnonD-44140, 04 Jun 20125.5 is slightly oversized. 5 would be better with 1280x720p... more5" is too small. I mean, for a "Note". SGS3 is already 4.8" so why bother with 5". 5.5" sounds about right and should be the perfect size. I expect it to be about the same size or even smaller/thinner than the current galaxy note. (thinner bezel etc) Anyways, sounds like it'll be the perfect phablet for business use or media consumption that's for sure.

WOW, had the Note for about 6 months now and would upgrade if

                                    -screen size is larger (tick)
                                    -quad core (please insert this)

I will still definitely upgrade, Love the higher resolution

SCREEN SIZE – I am defiantly after an increase. 5.5 is nice, 5.7 would be better. Needs thinner bezels.
SCREEN RESOLUTION – I don’t see the point of 1680 x 1050. If the increase is only 0.2” then the current resolution is ok.
CAMERA – Stop bleating about 12MP. Increased MP on the same sensor produces more noise. Go with 8MP but improve speed, sensor and quality.
RAM – 1.5GB seems strange. On the Note with ICS is am running out with 1GB. GO 2 GB yung sun.
PROCESSOR – Dual core A15 is a lot quicker that quadcore A9. Hopefully its 2GHz
OTHER – It would be nice if it was 8-8.5mm thick. Slightly increased battery which is still removable.
THIS IS MY NEXT PHONE!!! 
