So what that some smartphones have update 10.1 like other phones (p20 pro) still don't have android 10. It should be on February but we still don't know when it will be. I will never buy Huawei

And all the older A-series generations too, got two major Android updates. The same goes for all midrange Xiaomi devices (Redmi).

But at least Samsung has predictable update cycle. 2 OS upgrades and 3 years of monthly security updates for their flagships S/Note series, and 1 OS upgrades and 2 years of quarterly security updates for their A series (with slight variations in between).
Huawei only has proper policy for Chinese version, and unfortunately that is what the tech bloggers keep parroting without asking Huawei what's their policy for global versions. Heck, even the P30s in some regions are not even getting monthly security patches, only getting one sporadically.

Anonymous, 22 May 2020How about Huawei Nova 3i???It has since received Android Monthly Security Updates since late last year and will continue to do so until Huawei OFFICIALLY discontinues software support for the device. EMUI 9.1 is the LAST EMUI upgrade for Nova 3i.

"expanded Multi-Window functionality"
hope they mean the pop-up window, it's a great feature for multi tasking but the limitations that it can ONLY used on FB and WA make it barely usable
the voice assistant is so bad that it might as well not there. would be good if they could fix it but i won't expect much

Well done Huawei! You're sending emui 10.1 on p30 but I'm still on android 9 on my P20 pro, really disappointed as I've been waiting for android 10 for a while now and nothing yet. It's supposed to come this month but don't know why it's taking so long as it's been pushed from April to May. If it's not coming by the end of the month, I'm throwing my huawei to trash! My s20+ Korean version with sd865 is on it's way anyway so I don't have to deal with huawei for too long now.

It's a shame that Huawei plans not to update Honor Play models with EMUI 10 . Many users have these phone and we feel cheated.
